"We lived here for about a year and a half and absolutely loved it. Not only was it a great location, but the apartments themselves were in great condition and the management was incredible. You can tell that they genuinely care about the residents and the property, and they work very hard to keep everything nice. Sam was super helpful and understanding when we had to end our lease early to move out of state, and we were able to find a replacement tenant in less than a month. We had some deductions from our deposit, but that was entirely on us as we had to leave in quite a hurry and didn’t have the time to clean as thoroughly as we should have. They were fair and clear with their expectations in the lease and we were always treated with respect and kindness. Hands down the best management and best housing in Provo!"
"It has been a joy living here for the past two years. The only reason why we are leaving is because we're moving to a different state! The apartment itself is clean, and has a beautiful aesthetic. The ground are just as beautiful. We love that it is next to a grocery store, and within walking distance of many places we love to eat! Management has been exceptional - if we ever needed their assistance, response time was usually within the first 24 hours, and fixed just as quickly. They are one of the reasons we stayed with this establishment for so long! HIGHLY recommend!!"
"I couldn't recommend this place more! The apartments are beautiful! The location is conveniently close to a ton of restaurants and shopping as well as most of the events the community puts on. That being said it is very safe and secure with great lighting and cameras. The complex is very quiet and we never once were bothered by the sounds of neighboring apartments. We lived here for a year and a half and really loved it! All the amenities are modern and quite nice compared to other apartments in the price range. The tall ceilings make all of the apartments feel much roomier. Again the quality and location of the apartments are worth the 5 stars alone! The cherry on top is the awesome landlords. Throughout our whole stay here they have been absolutely first-class. They were fast to help each and every time we had an issue, even though those circumstances were very rare. When it came time for us to leave, we, unfortunately, had to break our lease early. Greg and Sam helped us find a new tenant to fill our lease within the month, which took a lot of weight off our shoulders. While we are sad to be leaving, they sure made the process so much easier! The neighbors have been friendly and quiet, making living here even better! To sum up, if you are looking for a unique and beautiful place to live, I highly recommend the Old Chapel apartments!"
"This is in response to Mason Snow's review: Mason: Let me respond to your issues about our Old Chapel Apartments: *I'm glad you liked living at the Old Chapel. Thank you for the time you were with us. *Like any good lease, ours protects your interests as well as ours. It is easy-to-read, specific and balanced. *The lease unambiguously spells out--multiple times--the expectations if/when a tenant leaves early. When you were debating whether or not to break our lease mid-term, your conversation with me made it evident you knew what those expectations would be. *I reiterated in that discussion that: -Responsibility to locate a replacement tenant was yours. -We would help with that process as much as we could. Ultimately, we provided the replacement tenant, saving you responsibility for six months’ rent. May we agree that your statement "One of your appliances stopped working after normal use? You pay for it." is rhetorical? Your appliances functioned perfectly, and we surely did not ask you to pay for problems that didn't exist. On the other hand, the paint damage, less-than-clean conditions, abandoned belongings, wire molding you affixed to the ceiling, etc., were surely not rhetorical. Note photographs: Your defining Old Chapel as having "thin walls" is a bit of a stretch. Walls shared by two apartments at the Old Chapel were designed by an architectural acoustic engineer. We invested heavily to minimize sound transfer. Could part of the noise problem you ascribe to sensitive neighbors perhaps be your issue, not theirs? We take no pleasure in deducting charges from any tenant's deposit. We make it clear to prospective tenants, and again before they depart, how deposit refunds will be handled, including what will be expected when a tenant vacates. Mason, it appears that you left without giving much thought to cleaning, wall repairs, etc. (That’s a nice way of saying, “You left the place a mess.”) We deducted from your deposit only what was required to put it back into the same pristine condition it was in the day you occupied it. Again, I reference photographs. We try hard to be fair with our departing tenants. I'm sorry you didn't sense that. Mason, we wish you the best of success in your new career situation.
