"Trying to get any maintenance done in the apartment is impossible. Staff is very hard to work with. Our brand new apartment is leaking in multiple places and it's insanely difficult to get anyone to come fix it. There is mold growing in the bathroom and in a closet, that sadly got mold on some of our clothing. The shelf in the shower also fell off. Would never recommend renting here."

"Updated: Do not do business with this company. Would give zero stars if possible. If your apartment or town home is managed by this company watch out. Countless problems. My wife and I purchased a new home while renting and Harmon required us to pay 3 months rent in advance to break the lease. Which is $8k btw. What a wonderful thank you from them while trying to purchase our first home.. We are getting our deposit back however it is “lost in the mail” for over a month. Called their company and got an attitude and they said it’s an additional $25 to cancel, print and send a new one. Zero option to pick up a check from anyone helpful. I will not give another cent to this company. They have been a living nightmare. Cannot communicate with anyone important by calling but the secretary who cannot make decisions or can help. I feel like I would be charged a fee for talking to the secretary on the phone if I’m honest. When you email management, plan on getting a response for anything a month or two later. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY! My wife and I have been cash paying customers and incredibly good tenants. We never missed payments and always had plenty of money to take care of things. We even that took perfect care of the home and this is how we’re treated. Older comment: These guys need to learn to communicate. We’ve had random contractors show up at our rental home unannounced at random times of the day and walk straight into our home. We as tenants have privacy rights and these guys do not seem to care about communicating when anyone is entering your home. It was nice to have things repaired quickly, which is why I added a star, but it’s not very hard to have the repair man communicate or reach out for basic courtesy of privacy. Please do better Harman property management."

"Unfortunately I had to live in one of the apartments managed by Harman for 4+ years. This was simply the worst living experience of my life. I know I'm going to heaven after this, because I lived in hell and paid for all my sins. Management does not solve any problems. For so many freaking years a lot of neighbors complained about the washing machines in the laundry room, and when we thought they'd finally fix the issue, management simply renewed the whole room, but did nothing about the actual machines, which pretty much continued to present issues, since they're the same old ones. For 3 of these 4 years (with the exception of 2020 for obvious reasons), we had constructions going on right next to us on all sides, and no discount whatsoever was provided to compensate for the noise pollution and the stress. In fact, one thing management was always good at was raising the prices exponentially after renewing our contracts. Plus, because of the dirty tools, wheelbarrows, and garbage that the construction crew left behind everyday, a lot of cockroaches started to get in our houses. They'd leave food and drinks behind, right next to our door and our neighbor's right next to us. These neighbors also complained about the same bug issue. But nothing bugged me more than being awake everyday at 7 am with constant, loud bangs only 2 feet away from my bedroom window due to the constructions. I was working nights while I lived there, so there was no sleep for me for almost one year! Lastly, several neighbors were extremely loud, and played loud music all the time. Someone even called the police on one of them, but management didn't do anything about that. Finally, when we moved out, we hired people to clean the apartment and the carpet professionally, as the contract established, and they kept taking people inside the apartment (with dirty feet from the construction) to see it after, so basically they kept our deposit saying that we never cleaned the apartment, despite the receipts being on top of the kitchen table. If you can find anywhere else, probably not managed by Harman properties, that's what you should do! Run while you can!"

I have noticed a difference in the community attitude towards the property has improved very much! People are friendly now and take better care and appreciate their surroundings!
