"Summerwood is the cutest most underrated housing in Orem. It’s in a great location and the rooms are newly updated and amazing. I had a few questions and Evie helped me out so quickly and efficiently."

"I rarely leave reviews for anything but I have to be honest, this place was awful. If you're unlucky enough to get a room right by the highway like I was, it's a constant frustration and there's not much you can do about it besides putting in earplugs. It's basically unlivable I also wanted to renew my lease for a year, and they told me I needed to put in a renewal request. I did, and they didn't respond to me for several days, and it was the weekend so the office was closed. When they finally got back to me it was too late and they told me I needed to have all my stuff out that morning or I would get a fee. This put me in an incredibly panicked situation and there was basically nothing I could do. None of this is to mention the stains all over the floors, or the fact they make you share a mailbox key with all of your roommates, so if one person loses the key then it screws everyone over. Really can't recommend this place any less, unless you're absolutely desperate and have no other options"

"They are so many issues with Summerwood, I would highly advise anyone not to live here. Maintenance is terrible. We've had ongoing issues with water coming under our door and flooding our apartment. We've contacted maintenance multiple times, but they refuse to fix the issue because it is expensive for them. Mold keeps growing in our apartment that has been a hassle to clean. Living next to the freeway has been super loud. The paint in our apartment is constantly chipping off the walls. In the parking garage, they are leaks everywhere that drips onto cars and destroys the paint."

"if i could leave a half star review i would, this was by far the worst experience i've ever had. before signing my lease management muscled me into signing it by saying the would increase rent if i didn't sign then. when i toured the place they showed me a quiet apartment that had no visible issues. upon move in day i was shocked when i opened the door to my room and heard the incredibly loud noise of the freeway, even when the window was closed it sounded like it was open. they do not listen to your roommate surveys, i specifically said i didn't want to be an apartment with pets and when i opened the front door on move-in day i was face to face with a cat. the roommate with said cat did not listen to any rules detailing that the cat had to be in their room when they weren't home. the cat never left me alone in the time i lived there, i had to keep my door closed at all times because it would sneak in there when i wasn't looking. i would be trying to cook and the cat would jump on the counter and attempt to get near my food. i was constantly on the defense. i went to management multiple times and they did nothing. this was a constant while i lived there. my emails and formal complaints often fell onto deaf ears because 80% of the time i never heard back. i once called them four times and nobody answered or called me back. you pay $25 a month to park in an underground parking garage that leaks mineral rich water all over your car. this is on top of more crazy fees bringing your rent payment to an incredibly high amount that is not worth what you're getting. i was thankfully able to sell my lease and move out and when i did i told management that the person who bought my lease was going to pay the next months rent. they proceeded to send me multiple emails and text messages about my "late fee and late rent payment" and ignored every response of me saying that they told me i would be fine and didn't have to worry about rent. it seems that management does not talk to each other because nobody knows what someone else has said. all of the negative reviews are true, do not live here, there are so many better places to live that have more to offer."

"Summerwood did not assign the room specific cleaning checklist, argued that that did, and then charged us for not passing(Even though we almost passed despite being blindsided by it). The parking garage leaks in quite a few places making it impossible to keep your car clean. The 24 fitness room is constantly disgusting as they do not maintain or clean it consistently. My dorm was disgusting when I moved in despite Summerwood reserving the right to hire professional cleaners in the case that the tenets do not pass the cleaning checklist which the previous tenets obviously did not."
