"Please don't consider moving here. When I moved in, I was completely unpacked and not even two days after they forced me to move to another unit because they moved a girl into my original apartment who had a cat allergy (I have an esa cat). Instead of placing her in a different unit, they made me move. When I moved to my new unit, black mold covered the walls in every bathroom. We told maintenance and they said they would have someone come over and "paint over it." Im sorry? They never even came to do that. When I moved out, I took videos of my room, bathroom, my kitchen cabinets, and how I left the living room and THANK GOD I DID. I left everything spotless, and they tried to charge me $100 for allegedly leaving behind "14 bags worth of trash." When I went to the office to get this charge removed, they told me that they equally charged each person in the apartment for the trash left behind. This was a lie because my roommate showed me her statement and it had a $0 charge on it. The only reason I got out of their bs fee was because I had videos to prove how I left everything. On top of that, they promise all of these amenities like free cable, gym, yoga rooms, ect, and we never once had any of that. You're much better moving somewhere else where you wont have 7 other roommates. All that being said, some of the staff were nice and helpful and I did appreciate that."

"Staff is quick to respond to maintenance requests but the quality of the work is abysmal. I've had 2 requests put in for the time that I've been living here and both times have been done extremely poorly. The first repair was a bathroom fan that wouldn't work, they came in, replaced the fan, and dumped dust and filth all over the floor and toilet which is extremely unprofessional and left it for me to clean up. The second time is recent where the bathroom door has never been able to lock in the time that ive been there. They came in, replaced the lock and left the doorknob poorly installed to where my bathroom door needed to be pressed very hard to close. I had to bend the flange that is on the frame to even shut the door. I then submitted a second request to get it properly installed and they essentially dismissed it and left it as is. I have also gone in person to the management to request a key for my room within my unit 3 times and each time they have told me that they will replace the lock and give me a key so I can lock my door and they have yet to follow through. I cannot lock my own door to my own room. I am thoroughly disappointed with the maintenance crew here and a lack of quality and actual knowledge of how to do these repairs. Update: dropped down to 1 star, they updated their parking policy which is fine but never notified any of us for the new hours for visitor parking and caused multiple of my friends to get booted immediately. Do not park at visitor parking just park across the street. WARNING NO SUNDAY PARKING NOW WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS."

"If you're looking somewhere close to the school or Somewhere mildly affordable, then. University towers is the place to live. They may have turned the hot tub into a dog park Lame, but they have many amenities to make up for it. Such as a third story game room, a second story study. Then and a ground level workout room. The staff are very kind and polite here, And are always willing to work with you on any problems You may have. most rooms have balconies or porches which is something I enjoy. Spacious rooms most, which are somewhat furnished and very clean. Although they may be stripped on their cleaning guidelines. Who would you rather live with? A stinky roommate or a clean roommate? I'd much rather have to keep a clean house in order to live. Somewhere nice, such as these apartments. If anyone has something bad to say about these apartments, it is not because These apartments are bad, It is because someone had a bad experience and wants others to have sympathy. I will give university towers a five out of five star rating."

"Honestly if you're looking for a place to live totally rule this out, the last 6 months were the worst living with 6-7 I swear it's going to be the worst you're going to experience, ok the apartment is big enough but it's not worth it, Your things are stolen including your food, many times it was Friday night and I came home from work and there were people throwing bottles/cigarettes etc, out the window. The parking lots really look like something out of a horror movie, the jacuzzi (you won't even notice there's one) is totally abandoned, the gym is clean but only the treadmill really work. In my last month they put a sign on the door that said they were going to search the apartments for the next 2 weeks, do you think they really did it? Obviously no, during that month my roommates were 2 weeks without washing the dishes or taking out the garbage (not They were mine, I ate on the street because living in a place like this disgusted me), the third week I lived at my parents' house, praying that my contract would end, when I return, guess what? They hadn't cleaned anything, I spent the last week trying to get my things(I got some) and cleaning many times I threw up from how bad it smelled, 1 day before my move in my roommate helped me clean up a bit but there was still a lot left to do. In conclusion for $425 it's not worth it I SWEAR you can do better (I have worst pictures)"

"Pros: -Management allowed me to easily and quickly sign a lease so I could share a room with my friend. -The free snacks in the leasing office. -They have an elevator in both towers, and vending machines in the south tower. -The bathroom setup is genius and made getting ready for proms and other fun events into a social thing, and you could still use the toilet with privacy. -The kitchen was large, and the 2 fridges were wonderful. -The common area was really spacious and we had a closet for storage. -The balcony (North tower only) was really nice. -Its so close to campus. -The bedroom closets are enclosed and have wire storage racks. -The AC/heat in our unit never failed us. -My mattress was very comfortable. -Lots of under-bed storage potential. -communicated when cleaning checks would be, did maintenance orders timely. -Mostly-functional ping pong table. (It is broken near the net so it comes apart when you bump it.) -Billiards table onsite. -Close to the freeway. Cons: -Shared-bedroom closets were unfortunate. You can't open the bedroom door all the way because the closets are half-an-inch too wide. -Cleaning checks. -Things weren't maintained; don't even ask about the "hot tub" or "gym" facilities. -The former clubhouse/new gym has no heating system, so those monthly events hosted there were very cold for a while. -Management changed hands 3 or 4 times during the year I lived there. -The washer/dryer units are all old. In the shared laundry room in the South Tower, the breaker often shorts out, meaning you come back to still-wet clothes. -The last month of my stay there, they ripped up the carpet in the breezeways and it was not replaced. -I cleaned deeply, handed in my Parking Sticker, and was still charged a hefty "cleaning fee" after moving out and leaving my apartment far better than when I moved into it. -Having 6-8 new, random stranger roommates is tricky. (Though this was a pro in many ways as well) -The shared-room beds are high off the ground, about 4 feet, I needed a ladder/office chair to get up into bed, and it's not fully furnished. I chose to bring some additional furniture, especially for kitchen storage. -The carpets were highly stained before move in day last year, and people were vaccuuming as we tried to move in. We didn't have mattress covers, there were dead bugs on windowsills, and hardened wax on a wall by an outlet. -Our view was of the freeway out of most windows. I can't hear people talk at all when I stand on the balcony or have windows open due to how close the freeway is. -Not many events/fun outdoor spaces/ways to bond with fellow students in the same apartment complex. My final opinion: It could have been worse. I preferred other apartments (Wolverine crossing and its 2 pools, fancy hammocks and functional gym come to mind) but it's a decent apartment complex."
