"I absolutely hate this place. I cannot wait to move out. There is never enough parking especially since some cars never move. Management changed hands a few years ago & it went way downhill. Don’t bother complaining about the pot smell or the noise because management won’t actually do anything to alleviate it. Also cars get broken into constantly & there has been an increased amount of police activity due to narcotics & auto theft reports. Also they’ve redone the parking lot twice in the last 5 years & guess who pays for that? You. If you need to know how that went please see the precious 1 star review below. I’ve been so unhappy for the last year & I hope this place burns down. Save your money & look elsewhere."
"I have lived here for 8+ years, overall its a good place to live. Maintenance is quick to respond, which is nice. Pretty much all of the staff is nice. But recently the property has come under new management and they are jacking up the rent by huge increments we haven't had before. It would be nice to not have such huge increases each year, thus place isnt THAT nice....and it would be nice to see some updates made for the increase in rent. The windows and flooring are outdated and need replaced. We used to get yearly carpet cleanings with lease renewal and maybe a small upgrade (like new blinds) but they don't do that anymore either. I can't afford to move and I probably won't be able to afford to stay with the coming lease renewal; so thats going to be interesting."
"I've loved living here so far! It's a good amount of space for the price you pay. It's not as updated as other places, but everything is maintained and they continue to make improvements to the buildings. There's also two pools which is so nice during the summer months! The maintenance guys are quick and friendly. The complex is typically pretty quiet, safe, and the office staff is so helpful!"
"This is a great place to live. I read some of the reviews on here. I just have to laugh. To the person complaining about their girlfriends car getting towed when we had renovations done on our parking lot. We were notified several times that this was gonna take place. Obviously she doesn't read her emails or looks and reads the notes that are left on our front main doors. And to the other person complaining about the walls are thin and you can hear everything. You do realize these apartments are OLD and were built in the 1970's. If your so unhappy then you need to look for a house or a newer apartment. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The apartments are nice size. Maintenance does get to you eventually but again keep in mind people Maintenance deals with 100's of apartments. So give the guy a chance. Keep in mind you do live in an apartment. Overall Cambridge Apartments are a quiet place to stay. They have done a beautiful job at renovating inside and outside. From signing my lease to living here I've been pretty happy with the way how things have turned out. For those who want to complain about petty stuff. Go buy a house !"
"Made the mistake of visiting my girlfriend while the parking lot was undergoing repairs. When I went to leave at about 8:15 the next morning, I woke up to the parking empty with two cars in the process of being towed. When I went to the front office, I was greeted by Katie. I was promptly greeted, and after a quick good morning exchange I asked about where the cars were towed and why there isn’t any kind of signage posted. Another question was with all the cones they had by the entrances to the lots, why they couldn’t have even posted a sign for a warning stating must be empty by a certain time. Katie was not sure where the cars were being towed to and if there would be a towing fee. As I was asking about posted signage, a man came into the room (never once introduced himself or stated how he represented your company) saying that “it’s the residents responsibility to inform guests of maintenance” When I asked him about any kind of question, I was met with abrasion like my questions were an inconvenience to him. He then stated that “it’s posted on all the doors as well”. I asked again where to find my vehicle which he did not know. I then asked a question about how the termination policy of a lease would look, which he refused to discuss Cambridges lease policy because I was not a resident. I didn’t ask about her lease, just the policy. Any amount of human empathy or emotion from this man would have lead to a completely different experience, while he escalated the situation with his ego. While Katie wasn’t sure about my questions, she was friendly and at least took a map to highlight areas that were open and I should check for my car there. Upon returning to my girlfriends apartment, there was no signage on either of the left hand entrances, which are the only ones for her unit. There was expired signage from julys renovation in an acrylic. 1st picture is picture of missing signage on her entrance, 2nd pic is the expired warnings, and third pic is alternate entrances not used by her unit."
