"Although I don't usually give reviews, my experience was so terrible that I feel compelled to share it. When the previous manager was managing the building, everything ran smoothly and we enjoyed living here. However, when she left, things went downhill. The office was always empty and unresponsive to emails, which was extremely frustrating when we needed to report an emergency. The new lady they hired was extremely rude and disrespectful, but we tried to avoid going to the office unless it was absolutely necessary. We always paid rent on time, but they still tried to charge us unnecessary fees and claimed that our rent was late because they didn't have anyone in the office to receive it. When we challenged these fees and claims, the lady became upset and seemed to hold a grudge against us. In the end, we decided to move out and assumed that they would hire a more professional and reasonable manager. Unfortunately, when we returned to the building later on, we discovered that they still had the same unprofessional manager and regretted our decision to move back in this Appartment. When we were relocated back to this apartment, we were not aware of who the new manager was. It turned out to be the same lady, and she recognized us as previous tenants. However, she began to mistreat us after our move-in, and her rudeness was evidenced in email communications that I still have. Despite her poor attitude, we ignored it and tried to have a smooth move-in process. However, we were given a middle apartment that was not soundproofed at all. Any activities done in the apartment would cause disturbance to the people below and above us. The person below us began to retaliate by hitting the ceiling from their apartment, which was ridiculous. Even though we could also hear noise from above, we did not complain. Eventually, the person below us reported our noise to the management, and we also made the same complaint in the office. However, the rude lady manager told us to send emails instead and refused to speak to us. We followed her instructions and sent an email, but the management ignored it. As a family man, I tried my best to make sure that we were respectful to our neighbors. However, despite our efforts, our neighbors continued to report us to the management. Unfortunately, it seemed like the management was unwilling to address the issue, and they secretly call the law enforcement for welfare check. Which is funny but if you are black this is nothing new to us. It was clear that the management had called the cops, knowing well that our children were finding it difficult to enjoy their new apartment due to the constant complaints coming from the tenant below us and as a parent we have to keep telling them to sit down. When I approached the office to find out more about why the cops were called, the manager was dismissive and said she was going to a meeting. It was a rude and disrespectful response, especially since we had been trying to address the issue. We later reported the matter to a higher authority within the company, but nothing was done about it. It felt like they were trying to brush off the fact that we were being wrongly accused of breaking the law. As a black family man, I cannot recommend this apartment complex, especially if you have kids and you black and want to feel welcome. The experience was not pleasant, and I believe that as a black family, we were unfairly targeted( because there is not way we in the middle and experience the noise from both apartments but yet they target us because of my kids). We are grateful that nothing happened to our family and kids during the welfare check, but the issue could have been avoided if the management had taken appropriate action. Leaving this review just incase something happens to my family since she have target us."
"PLEASE READ IT If you are considering moving into this apartment complex, I advise you to proceed with caution based on my experience. While the previous manager, Emily, was a pleasant person to work with, the management has since gone downhill. Once you sign your lease, the level of service and care you will receive is far from satisfactory. Furthermore, the current office staff is extremely rude, and their disrespectful behavior towards tenants is unacceptable. Living here has been a mistake, which is why I am writing this review to help other prospective tenants avoid the same experience that I had. The rent for this complex is quite expensive, and I do not believe the price justifies the quality of the complex nor the service provided. I do not recommend it to anyone, as the living conditions do not meet basic expectations. I submitted my move-out notice thirty days in advance but received no response from the management. Additionally, no move-out inspection was conducted in my unit. Despite numerous attempts to contact the office staff and address my concerns, I received no replies and was left without communication. In summary, my stay at this complex has been terrible. Take my advice, and do not make the same mistake. You deserve a better living situation and experience."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE Unless you want to live in an apartment that is completely unmanaged. I moved in when the apartment was just taking off and the building manager, Emily, was incredibly helpful and involved. When she left, everything went downhill. There was a few months when no one was in the leasing office, answering the phone, and the voicemail box was full. Garbage accumulates in the yard, the dog park is full of feces, not to mention the puke that gathers in the parking lot when people have parties. When I finally found a new place to move, they make it extremely difficult and expensive to leave. Though the apartments themselves are nice enough, I would not recommend this complex to anyone, especially for how expensive it is. Complete rip off"
"Not a great experience when turned in my 30 day notice, no one would respond. I never signed any documentation for my move out date. I had to call, email, stop down to the office daily and no one was ever available and never returned my calls or emails. I left the apartment exactly the way it looked when I moved in (I have video of it) and I only received 50$ back from my security deposit which took 3 weeks to receive, I was charged twice for refrigerator cleaning ($125) which was spotless - so do not expect to get your deposit back - I would not recommend this complex."
"I'm not sure if I will obtain residency but I have to say that Emily has been amazing to work with. I have had a multitude of questions and she has gracefully answered each and every one of them. She even took the measurements for me that I forgot to get when I took a tour. She has made me feel like I'm the only person looking at these apartment when I know I'm anything but. As far as the units go, the ones I saw are very nice. The open concept between the kitchen and the living room is awesome and I love that they went with hardwood, at least in the 1 bedroom units. The appliances are stainless steel LG and there's a full sized washer and dryer in unit. Light fixtures are modern and a small thing I loved was that the outlets have USB ports built into them in the bedroom. All in all, I hope I'm able to get in to this complex as it is near my workplace. But either way, Emily made it seem like they actually care about each potential resident which is a nice change! Thanks so much Emily!!!"
