"Excessive charges to security deposit. After cleaning the place top to bottom and paying $200 for carpet cleaning, we were still charged almost $600 for “cleaning charges”. They also had me pay the previous tenant their entire security deposit without doing a checkup on the property or fixing anything."

"We have rented multiple properties from this company and this is the last. Jena lied to us consistently throughout our time in the house, and does not seem care about her tenants. There was no clear communication and a ton of dishonesty. When we moved into the house there was planters with dead plants and 10-15 old pieces of fence with nails in them. We were told the house would be repainted upon move in and that did not happen for 6 months (the HOA was sending letters to the owner at this point.). We were charged $400 for yard clean up on move out even though the yard was a mess when we moved in. We paid $500 for a carpet cleaning and professional cleaning of the home and we’re charged $318 for a move out clean although we provided a receipt and photos of the clean home. They charged us $140 for a broken disposal that we requested be fixed a month before move out. If you want a dishonest, unprofessional, disrespectful experience then definitely go with Beacon, as that was our experience. It makes sense to me that Jena took 6 years of training to get her real estate license and I am not sure why Beacon brags about this feat on their website. It also makes sense to me that she only made it with Keller Williams for a month (per her LinkedIn). Worst experience ever and I will be reporting her to Colorado Division of Real Estate."
