Terra Vista at the Park Apartments

"We lived here 2017-2024. Left February1,2024. So happy to get away. The first 5 years were wonderful. There was a great staff that made themselves known to the residents. Maintenance was especially attentive. Then they all changed. The staff now is uppity and uncaring. In June of 2023 our apartment was flooded with black water. We were expected to live in this mess for six weeks. It took 5 and 1/2 weeks to put a working sink in the bathroom. Then another week for flooring, walls etc. I was constantly asking for help. There was no compensation. In fact my electric bill tripled due to the fans that were used. I had to pay for both the ones in the crawlspace and the apartment. When we moved out there were still gaps between the floor and the molding. There were splotches of caulking in the hall, black marks all over the tub. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM GREYSTAR AGAIN. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO RATING."

"I’ve lived here a little over a year and it’s pretty pleasant. Maintenance responds in a timely manner and I like the Amazon lockers. The renovations they’ve done around the building are nice too. Only complaint would be how competitive the parking is after 6 pm :/"

"AVOID MOVING IN HERE AT ALL COST! The positive reviews are a scam. They will take your money when you move out and stop responding to any messages to discuss any concerns. They are completely unprofessional and take your money to pay for renovations once you move out. Please learn from our mistakes and never move in here. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. Even though Terra Vista Leasing will probably respond to this message saying they are sorry, it doesn't take away from the fact they don't care about anything but screwing over their clients. I never had an issue at Terra Vista throughout my whole lease but once we decided to move out it was an entirely different experience. We went to their leasing office to give them our notice (because you have to do it in person) and asked them about the details of getting our security deposit back. They were kind and explained they weren't trying to take our money and wouldn't charge for minor things such as hole smaller than a nickel. We moved out, made sure we cleaned after ourselves, and left everything in the same condition we received it. There had been no renovations to our unit however the unit across the hall and below us were in the process of being renovated as we were moving out. When we got our security deposit back they took out 90% with no breakdown for what they charged for. We believed this was absurd and requested the breakdown which then showed they had charged us to renovate the entire apartment. We requested them to re-evaluate and sent us an email and phone number to a "corporate office" that doesn't exist and the phone number doesn't even ring. They refuse to rectify this issue and are hoping that we quit trying. We have had hundreds of dollars taken from us for a unit to be renovated and I hope no one ever moves in. All I can say is avoid Terra Vista and take your money elsewhere."

"I moved here a few months ago. So far, I am satisfied with their services. They have always efficiently and quickly solved my maintenance requests. The gym is nice. I wish that the gym were open before 10 am though! So I could work out before starting my job. The maintenance staff are nice and helpful. You can see mountains from the patio! That's nice."
