"Essex House is an absolute dump. It is filthy, run down, and is UNSAFE. Scary activity all night, plexiglass for windows, flimsy door lock, and the mattress was beyond worn out. Disgusting. Do not stay here."
"Room was clean. Plug in fan no air conditioning. Very few tv channels which rarely work. Constant buffering. Tv very tiny. Wifi not even strong enough to read the news,much less stream anything. Got charged $95. Huge ripoff. Borderline slum lords"
"I had to literally clean my room before stepping inside. (It took over two hours to clean!)I washed the bedding myself! (With my own money) The bathroom had a mystery leak. And when going to the laundry room I slipped twice on puddles of water! Don't stay here. Just don't. Spend a bit more on a place to go. You will be glad you did. Trust me. It was a CRACK SHACK. After cleaning my room I don't know what I would test positive for at this point! The laundry room was on the second floor on the corner (or the second corn as she said it)! No smoking signs means nothing!"
