"Great visitor center with tons for kids to do, lots of fun outdoor programs regardless of weather, and easy trails to explore with kids."
"Cute park with beaver activity. If you get lucky you can see some of the beavers. Walking paths are great for adults and kids. It’s mostly flat. The trails can be confusing, but since the park is small you can’t really get lost."
"This is probably the best walking trail I've found in Aurora. It's very easy dirt and gravel paths with only a couple little hills. At a point, it runs next to a factory (walled off), which is the only thing hurting it, but otherwise it is lovely, safe and well-maintained, with a couple little side trails to explore. You'll see tons of deer, prairie dogs, birds, bunnies and more along the way, too :D"
"A great half-mile wetland loop. Perfect for small children. It also connects with the the Sand Creek and Highland Canal trail systems. The Morrison Nature Center is also a huge plus. It was nice to cool down after a nature walk in 90+ degree heat. Plently of wild life and trees to climb, too."
"This is an amazing nature center that connects into the Sand Creek Greenway trail in Aurora. Over 10 miles great for running, walking, biking, or horse riding. Crushed granite trail and very quiet for a Saturday morning makes this a hidden gem in Aurora. The Morrison Nature Center is also worth checking out before you hit the trail to hear about any animal sighting."
