"Great trail, lots of open space and well maintaimed"
"Nice little park on the south side of town. Really nice walking paths. Best part is you can park here and walk the path to Big Grove Brewery, because there is not enough parking there. I am sure you are not supposed to do that, but it gets you a little exercise before and after you drink."
"My boyfriend contacted RFC to schedule a showing as we were interested in a particular 2 bedroom unit. Tim was not entirely helpful. My boyfriend told him what unit we wanted a showing of along with days and times we could participate in a showing and he responded along the lines of “we have this unit and this unit and it’s VERY limited space in terms of openings.” My boyfriend compared it to major car salesman vibes because of the sense of urgency Tim was creating in his response email (why offer to show units if there’s a waitlist of 200+ people allegedly?) and the fact that Tim did not really listen the first time around as we already mentioned what specific unit we wanted a showing of. We ended up not getting a showing scheduled at all. Which is a bit unfortunate because I know someone who lives at RFC and they’re nice apartments that hit almost all of our criteria. Save yourself from the runaround and look elsewhere."
"I lived at these apartments for about two years and loved every second of it! The landlords are great, they respond to emails in a timely manner and are always extremely helpful. I highly recommend living here!"
"I will start with the good and transition into the bad. This place has some great views, nice neighbors, and great accessibility to trails and local amenities. I like that there are two elevators and that everyone seems to fit my demographic here. The Bad: Cheap wood flooring that warps from a single drop of water, cracked foundation with bugs spewing in to my living room, promoted free parking that was eventually removed without proper notice or concern when a follow up was completed, and constant construction with no concern for tenants or the fact that some (including myself) work from home. This has been quite a frustrating experience to say the least. Also, if tenants can not park their car in the garage (as noted by management at the start of my lease), where are they supposed supposed to park? I called management and their answer was: “We recommend you either buy a spot in the garage (already told me I could not do this previously) or find somewhere else to park it... awesome... great solution MWACR. My recommendation to you if you are considering a lease here... just don’t. There are plenty of nice apartments closer to downtown that have better parking options, amenities, management, prices, and that are overall built better. Additionally, if you have a dog, have fun walking around the entire building every time your dog has to go #2. We asked them if they would be willing to place receptacles behind the building for dog waste... they said no. The result: dog waste is running off into the Iowa River for those that do not clean it up. My recommendation to management: Listen to you tenants, follow through on your agreements, and consider those that work from home. Thanks MWACR!"
