The Highlander Hotel

"We had a nice visit. Price was a little high for the quality of the hotel, the rooms have been upgraded, but there was still a bit of wear especially around the door that lead to the pool balcony. Breakfast was actually pretty cold when it was served over the warmers they had it served in. The pool area was nice, they had a 16 and up sign posted at the hot tub area which was nice as well. Rooms adjoining the pool were rather loud until the pool closed for the evening. The arcade was a nice place to spend time til the pool opened at 9am."

"I had a family birthday party and gathering in The Supper Club on February 7, of this year. We had 20 in our group. I had called ahead to let them know so they would have time to prepare for us. When got there we had to rearrange the tables and chairs to accommodate us. There was only one person servicing the area, the bartender named Destiny! After setting up and moving all the tables Destiny handed us the menus to place at all the tables. The kids did have fun in the game room and that was perfect to occupy their time as the parents visited. Destiny was very nice and did a great job waiting on us!! However, after we placed our food orders it took 40 minutes before the orders starting coming out one by one. Over a period of a half hour. So we never were able to eat at once together!! In addition the hamburgers were over cooked and tasted terrible. Needless to say several people felt they had food poisoning! Also the name The Supper Club is extremely missing leading as the menu is equivalent to a concession stand menu! My family has used the The Highlander over the years for all four of their wedding receptions. So this experience was totally disappointing!"

"One of a kind boutique hotel with a great 70’s vibe. Very clean and uniquely decorated. The Supper Club has a neat bar area & fun arcade. The pool and hot tub are also very nice. NYE stay was a lot of fun!"

"Went on a girls trip recently and stayed here. We enjoyed our time at the Highlander! Very clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We especially loved meeting Hope! Great atmosphere! Will definitely be back and recommending to friends passing through the area."

"This place is amazing in every way. The hotel is beautiful and while it's spacious it's also very cozy. It seems every corner has a big comfy sofa or chair inviting me to sit with a book or have a quiet conversation. There's plenty of space for fun, too. The pool area is beyond compare with plenty of room for families. The game room is a great place to be a kid again enjoying skee-ball, pinball and my new favorite, the dance machine. The food and drinks were inventive and of course the staff was incredible. This hotel feels like home away from home."
