Management kept telling us they would send us a check for our deposit and rent overpayment for months after we moved out, then stopped answering any calls/texts/emails. It took 8 months and a small claims case to get our money back. Do not rent with Rentals IC/Allen Rentals/Jesse Allen."

"Absolutely unreachable by phone, email, text, and even in person for a future tenant. I was told there would be parking for my unit in April, and have since never heard back from them. I'm moving into my apartment in a week and there is no instruction or communication for anything. I left voicemails with Allen Homes, and the RentalsIC office VM is full. I have no confidence in RentalsIC as a landlord, as I’m in the dark with everything going on with move in. I have no confidence I will be able to move in on August 1st"

"The property company is unreachable!!!! They changed one phone number to a scam and the other phone number NEVER gets answered and has a full mailbox everyday! I went to the office and nobody is there!!! I have had a bird in my dryer for over 24 hours now and no way to get it out without maintenance. I’ve had several other reason to call them with no luck as well! Pest control stopped coming 4 months ago with no reason or communication, I’ve been robbed from my unit with no intent to help me or reach out, there is broken glass and building materials EVERYWHERE!!! This place was nice when we moved in a year ago and has become a complete DUMP! I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTALSIC OR EASTBROOK FLATS"

"As a tenant of 2 years, the administration for the building (Thomas Kaut), has been awful. I was recently locked out and it was 4:50 pm when I called. I called the 24/7 line because it is on the website and it’s promoted as that. I was locked out of my apartment and the guy who came to lock me out, Tom, was so disrespectful on the phone, as well as in person, and telling me how irresponsible I was and kept belittling me. I paid the lockout fee and was fine with that! I wish they didn’t promote the 24/7 maintenance if that is not true. I asked Tom if they offered this and he said “we just put it on the website “. I’m very disappointed with how he handled the situation."
