Rae-Matt Properties 915 Harlocke Apartments

"If you are a healthcare professional, I highly recommend this apartment for you. I came here for my second surgical fellowship and wanted a nice place to stay that was close to the University of Iowa hospital. This apartment has exceeded expectations. I can bike to work in 5 minutes or walk in 15-20 minutes. I have been here 1.5 years and have not had needed to purchase a hospital daytime parking pass yet. I only have night and weekend parking for when I’m on-call. The apartment is very nice, beautiful wood floors in the kitchen and living space and carpet in the bedrooms. The parking is FREE and is underground and air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Yes, you want that in Iowa City. The apartment is quiet with mostly Medical professionals or Law students. What makes this place truly great is Gary. Gary is the property manager and will fix or replace anything that needs fixing. He is responsive, and kind, and is dedicated to make this apartment the best place for you. His human touch is what sets this apartment apart from the many different places we have lived throughout medical school, residency, and fellowships. I hope this honest review was helpful. I am moving this summer to another city to take a faculty position, which I hope will allow you the room to enjoy this space as much as we did."

"Gary is the best landlord in the whole world. He is kind, attentive, and truly cares about the residents needs. When looking for an apartment, 915 Harlocke stood out like no other in the area. All of the apartments are large, have 2.5 bathrooms, and an in unit washer and dryer. Not to mention that there's an underground garage (this makes getting to an 8am class in the dead of winter MUCH more bearable). My roommate and I have truly loved our experience living here. I would highly recommend looking into living here."
