"Great location, great management, great facilities! Building was built not too long ago so all the apartments and appliances are modern and current. Management is always quick to address any concern I may have which isn’t often in the 3 years I’ve been here. Plenty of free street parking and within walking distance to bars, restaurants, farmers market, etc this is the perfect place for anyone."

"I moved to Des Moines about 3 months ago from Nashville, TN and at first the building wasn't what I expected. The whole building was dirty, the carpet was stained all over the place, elevator was always dirty. Not long ago Indigo Management took over here at the lofts and I'd say that has been the best decision they could of made. Ashley has been a great property manager, she's answered all my questions and catered to all my concerns and needs. Maintenance people did an awesome and fast job resolving my issues here at my apartment. Carpet is not stained anymore, there's not a lot of packages on the floor by the entrance, there's a clear path for me to grab my mail. Everything is starting to look better and cleaner. Overall I'm glad there's a new team making sure our place of living is comfortable and convenient. - Marian Aleman"

"Do not move here! I moved into Rowat Lofts with high expectations, as the property was brand new. However, I have noticed a decline in the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the building. Unfortunately, there have been instances where the hallways and elevators have been soiled with urine, creating an unpleasant environment. Even the once pleasant rooftop area has become disappointing, as it often emits unpleasant odors and remains consistently dirty. It's disheartening to see that some residents allow their dogs to urinate in common areas. Recently a resident had their bike stolen. This incident has left me feeling concerned about the overall security and safety within the building. Another note the building is right in front of the railroad EVERY DAY a train will pass honking so loud if you have a baby or sensitive pets or you’re just really a sensitive sleeper you should absolutely not move in here. Furthermore, the management's responsiveness to issues leaves much to be desired. Trash removal is often delayed, resulting in an unpleasant experience for residents. The lease agreement is exceptionally strict, and I advise caution if you anticipate the need to terminate your lease early, as the associated fees can be exorbitant $3500 plus if you receive any move in special you must repay. It is clear that the management prioritizes profit over resident satisfaction, and their lack of concern for addressing these issues is evident. Overall, my experience at Rowat Lofts has been far from satisfactory. The deteriorating cleanliness and lack of management involvement in resolving these problems have made living here quite unpleasant. I hope the management takes the necessary steps to improve the living conditions and address the concerns of the residents in a more efficient and empathetic manner"

"Same as the other reviews. Gross urine stained hallway carpets, terrible parking situation, and loud dogs/drunk barhoppers at all hours of the day and night. Dont waste your time even touring this place. Instead of cleaning the carpets, they just put new air fresheners in every couple of weeks. I wont be calling the leasing office to speak with them, they should read the reviews and maybe make some actual changes."
