"Never call u back regarding vacancies."
"Update 6/30/22 I had to get rid of my last review since it wouldn’t let me make a separate one. This Ashilly/Ashely chick however you spell her name is the so-called property manager, but has no business being over these apartments. Ashley is doing everything in her power to keep a relative of mine in a unit with very concerning flooding issues in 3 different rooms. Said unit failed a third inspection sometime last month. Relative was told by section 8 that she needs to move as they will no longer pay. Relative was then told 3 weeks ago by an office member who identified herself as the assistant manager that they have a unit in another one of their properties becoming available and that they could get her into that one. Ashilly told us on the phone today 6/30/2022 in the assistant managers office that she has no knowledge of any of this; clearly there’s a huge communication issue between Ashilly and her team. So this whole time relative has been lead on thinking she was going to have somewhere to go. Now Ashley/Ashilly keeps saying she will get maintenance out asap to fix the current unit instead. So Ashley clearly has no idea how things work with section 8 when she’s the manager over a number of properties. No offense but office staff and maintenance wear regular clothes and act like regular people off the street as if they don’t work for this company. In other words they look and act as if they’re not held to any company standard. During today’s meeting Assistant manager implicated she is sleep deprived and suffering burn out. She outright told us she just started with not much experience and Ashley/Ashilly just threw her in to figure it out. She looked and spoke as if she hadn’t slept in days. Until she mentioned sleep deprivation, I thought she was either drunk or high. Ashilly/Ashley is never in the office, never answers the phone, and does everything she can to avoid having any in-person contact with the tenants including repeatedly bailing on 1 on 1 appointments, leaving it to her incompetent office associates to give tenants the runaround. We have a number and are currently reporting Ashilly/Ashley to corporate now."
"I sometimes visit a family member at this apartment complex the hot water in her bathroom has not worked since she has moved in the roof leaks into her apartment the apartment complex is more focused on towing cars of the residents then maintenance in apartments."
"This company drug out our application process for 4 weeks. During that time we had to constantly call to make sure they were getting the ball rolling. I called and explained that we had already put in our thirty day notice and that if we didn't know by three weeks we were going to withdraw. Five minutes after that call, my employer finally received a fax for employment verification! The agent we were working with proceeded to miscalculate our income and we ended up not qualifying to rent after all. Furthermore, Seldin cashed our deposit before we were approved. They then proceeded to tell us that it would be a 1-2 week turnaround to get our money back. At this point we had 3 weeks to find a new place and be out of our old one. I asked to speak with management to see if the process could be expedited. The manager at the Kellom Heights location refused to take my calls on 3 separate occassions and never called me back. It is now going on 3 weeks and we have yet to see our deposit back. This company is shady and unprofessional!"
