Dahlman Flats

"I experienced the transition from Urban Village to GreenSlate while living here for two years. It quickly became apparent that GreenSlate was only interested in buying out the place for the $$$. The property quickly became very dirty due to no consistent cleaning. Smoking on and in the premises is allowed. Dog poop everywhere due to trash cans designated for this rarely being changed. Free parking lot turned into $50 parking for the same thing. Maintenance that doesn’t respond for weeks. A nice property turned into a neglected cash cow. But, hey, at least the place got a new logo! Very happy that I left."

"It’s good under new management GreenSlate though it was terrible under urban village. Make sure you see the actual unit you’re renting or else you may wind up with way fewer windows than you think. All layouts are not the same. Also pro tip, you will share the same apt number as 2-3 other apartments in this building which is all one building but with doorways labeled 1311/1313 etc. So if you don’t see your package check the other 3 apartments in the building that share your number. This is due to urban village being out of their element when building a big this big."

"Not only did I love my time with Urban (over two years and two properties) but I adored every moment I lived in these flats! I moved in while other portions of the building were under construction and never found that to be a problem. Maintenance was always prompt with minor issues and all of the neighbors were considerate of space and pets. The views from the flats are gorgeous (especially sunrise over the Missouri) and the neighborhood was wonderful for dog walking! Truly bummed to have had to leave the area."

"This is my first apartment, and so far it has been pretty decent. Be aware that everything is brand new and still under construction. Everything in the unit is electric, so be prepared for above average OPPD bills monthly. I would recommend living here if you don't need much for amenities and don't mind living in a small space that is close to downtown. I wasn't too crazy about living here, but Urban Village was VERY accommodating in helping me find a new place to rent. I would recommend staying at their properties, as they have an excellent feature in their lease--The Happiness Guarantee. Michelle and Lindsay assisted me throughout my transfer process and helped me find a perfect place. They were very generous in waiving additional moving fees. My experience with Urban Village is what will keep me staying at their properties."

"The Dahlam has been an amazing time so far! I love the layout and unique design of each apartment, locationally it’s perfect if you want easy access to downtown living but not wanting to be square in the middle, right next to the interstate, gas station and local markets. They maintenance is always prompt and friendly, and the community is really friendly! My biggest to mention is these people care about their renters, and will do what they can to make sure your happy, safe, and content. During this pandemic they have been extremely accommodating and understanding to tenants. I plan on living here another year at least! 10/10 would recommend."
