"I only lived here for 1 year, I moved for personal reasons, however I was fine living there. I felt safe inside my Apartment since it has a double door, 1 door to the building that only tenants are supposed to be able to enter and the second door to our Apartment. The building has a common laundry room and that was very practical and useful for me. The neighbors are really respectful, at least the time I lived there I didn't have any problems with any of them. The space inside the Apt is a decent place to live for what you are paying. And the owner of the building is very friendly and helpful. However, it was difficult for me to communicate with the person in charge of the building because of the language. I would have liked them to have someone who spoke Spanish or a translator. And as something to consider when renting a unit, always make sure to do a good tour and find the aesthetic flaws of the unit and send them to the person in charge so that they are proof of how you received the unit and how you are delivering it and avoid charges."
"I lived here for about 9 months. My water was coming out yellow at one point, and when I told the landlord about it, her response was to give me suggestions on how to fix it instead of actually fixing it. It took a long email after a week to get maintenance in to actually fix it. The landlord ADMITTED to me that she had entered my apartment without giving me notice. My door had stopped opening multiple times and locking toward the end of me living at Lyndale. They don’t give you a key-they have an electronic system where you enter a code, so if that system stops working (which happened multiple times), you’re screwed. Because of the Nox-Crete chemical fire, I had to evacuate my apartment, and the property manager sent an email when this happened implying it would be fine to stay in these apartments and just keep the windows closed despite the fire department sending a notice to evacuate. I had to evacuate a second time because of another fire. My packages would get lost here too. It took longer than legally allowed to receive my security deposit back, and I had to push for it in order to get it back. I took legal action against Lyndale after I moved out and won the case. Don’t live here."
