"Pros: depending on the unit you get beautiful, charming units with original hardwood and fireplaces. lots of sunlight. french doors, paneled walls, and semi updated kitchens. tenants are friendly and the location is great. cheap for a 2 bedroom. i’ve never had an issue with parking or packages. cute courtyard. Cons: no AC and laundry facilities are expensive. cockroaches in the basement as well. card system for laundry is frustrating. depending on the unit, you’ll have some cockroaches, dead and alive. maintenance is really friendly but sometimes fast, sometimes slow."

"Lived here 4 months and have seen about 60 adult roaches in my apartment (that’s not including the baby roaches). Alive and dead. Tons of roaches in the basement too. Adds to the charm of the old building. Regarding the leasing office staff - they are rude and unprofessional. I was met with sass whenever I had a legit complaint. The maintenance team has a history of marking ongoing problems as "complete" on the online portal instead of actually fixing the issue. The laundry room is always filthy and there aren't enough washers and dryers to fulfill the whole building. There also aren't any on-site security cameras besides one in the laundry room. There are so many exterior entrances and given the location the extra security is definitely needed."

"The St. Regis is beautiful architecturally and is in a perfect Blackstone location. Very quiet, secure and peaceful. Staff is fantastic and extremely responsive to requests of all kinds. All around great experience."

"I've lived here about 7 months and I can't say enough good things about St Regis. The location is perfect, walking distance to UNMC, midtown and Blackstone. The apartments are beautiful, reasonably priced and spacious on the inside, keeping many elements of the original charm. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and the maintenance is fast and has a 24/7 emergency line. The building is secure, the other residents are quiet and courteous. The mail, gym and laundry rooms on the ground floor are well maintained and easily accessible. Parking is on the street but I've never had an issue finding a close spot. There are also garages available. The only bad thing about living here is that I can't stay forever!"

"Please save yourself time and money and don't live here. Move on to something that's worth your nearly $1,000 rent. The building is gorgeous, yet is being ruined by the newer owners. It's a terrible feeling when you realize you're trapped in a lease, please heed my warning and move on."
