Steeplechase Apartments 14949 Manderson Plaza, Omaha, NE 68116

"I'd like to preface by saying I've never been one to review anything ever, but I have had such an eventful first 3 weeks of living here: I moved in 3 weeks ago and had a bunch of problems with the move-in condition of my unit including water spraying everywhere from the shower, a constantly running toilet, and light bulbs being out. In fact, I've had my bread eaten by mice (and trapped one) before they came and fixed anything that should have been move-in ready anyway. Their fix to the mouse problem? Bringing mouse traps after I already had some laid out. Maintenance has had my work orders for a few weeks, but nothing is being fixed or communicated to me. I can hear my upstairs neighbors loud and clear, often waking me up, and the appliances are at least two decades old. 3 weeks in, I'm upset that I'm trapped in my lease and I already know that I will not be renewing. The only saving grace for Steeplechase is that their staff is very friendly and the units are spacious. They're lucky to get 2 stars. EDIT: I have caught 4 mice in 4 weeks living here. They have only assisted by providing glue traps, which are inhumane. Nothing like rolling out of bed at 4:30 am to the sound of a struggling mouse!"

"This has been one of the best experiences, maintenance is always fast and fixing any issues that my arise! Everyone in the office is great to communicate to and always willing to help! I love that the apartments come with a washer and dryer, the pantry space is awesome and the size of the bedrooms are amazing!"

"I have enjoyed my experience thus far, the management is very kind and helpful whenever I have questions. It’s a very quiet complex and people that live here are courteous. The only downside is that I have had trouble with maintenance (taking months to fix items). Also, the gym is very dirty and never gets cleaned."

"I moved to Omaha again after a couple of years living in Lincoln. I was living in a nice apartment in Lincoln and I wanted the same quality apartment. Some of the reviews on here are very misleading. I was searching everywhere for a good apartment and every apartment under $2000 had horrible reviews. I took a risk with the Steeplechase ignoring the reviews I saw and I didn’t regret it. There is nothing wrong with these apartments! It’s spacious and beautiful especially in the mornings and at night. The location is so convenient and everyone minds their business. When encountering neighbors they have all been kind. Police occasionally patrol the area. It’s great here."

"Outstanding value!! Spacious units, responsive maintenance, and friendly leasing office staff. Applying and moving in were easy, living here is even easier. They even let me move in on Sunday!! Great pool and fitness center, you won’t find a better place this far west for this great of a price!"
