The only two things I wish would be a report card after their stay to know if they ate all right, and I wish when you call that it was easier to get a hold of a staff member."

"I was spending a few days in Sioux Falls on vacation with my pup. I reached out to Smoken Dakota Kennels roughly a month ahead of time to arrange a daycare session. They were easy to work with, incredibly friendly at drop off, have an amazing photographer, and most importantly, my dog loved it! At pick-up, she said goodbye to each person there. I strongly encourage anyone in the area to check out this place for their canine needs! I wish I lived closer so I could continue taking Nova there."

"I had read a lot of reviews and upon inspection of a couple boarding places in town had decided to go with SDK for the fact they allowed the pups out to play for a good amount of time and knew ours would love that whilst we were out of town. Spoke with Lydia upon dropping Everest off, great host, very helpful, however we had talked about how I brushed him regularly and had him groomed a week or so prior, so I assumed seeing that he was a very furry pup (Samoyed/Husky mix) they knew to brush him too during his time there.. however upon pick up a week later he was not his usual white he was a full on brown with matts in his tail and all around his collar among other areas.. after taking him directly to bathe him he is still slightly brown after and has matts I am finally getting out a day or 2 later.. in the end I would say great people however do not assume they will know what to do with your pup besides feed and let them out to play/potty."
