"This hotel is older, and could use a bit more love from the staff and owners. We were in town for a weekend concert. There is no shuttle service to the airport. Only one of three elevators were functioning. This is a challenge for a hotel with something like 10 floors. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our room keys stopped working after our first night, and when we went down to the front desk to address the problem, the guy just took care of re-doing our keys, but didn’t really apologize for the inconvenience, or seem shocked that it happened. The hot breakfast was a solid spread of scrambled eggs and cheese, with sausages, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, yogurts, cereals and juices. That was well maintained. The Tiki-themed bar menu was light on options, but large portions. Service in the bar was mixed though. Hotel staff were friendly, but a little too lacking in attention to detail and customer service."

"I hate giving a negative review but I hope it helps someone decide on whether they will spend the money to bring their family here. This place is filthy. Curtains, bathroom floor, sheets, walls all of it so so dirty! I can report that I DID NOT find any bed bugs. The pool was freezing! We ended up just leaving the pool early because it was too cold to swim. When it was brought up to the front desk’s attention they had no interest in us. The weekend breakfast is advertised on the website as being open until 10. The people working were rude, taking food away from people (yeah I wish I was making that up!) When my husband asked why they were cleaning up, he was told they were done with breakfast at 9 and was told (very rudely) to take the issue up with the front desk. While at breakfast we were told, by another hotel guest, to not let our children out of our sight. Because there were 4 guys walking around, making him feel very uneasy. And that someone tried to get into their room in the middle of the night. I never witnessed this but it should be known. Our family decided to just eat the money for the next 2 nights that we were suppose to stay and go to a different hotel. The only positive from this experience is that the location was ideal for traveling to the zoo."

Over the past weekend, I had the delightful experience of lodging at this motel, and I must admit, it truly made an impression on me given its reasonable pricing. The rooms boast retro décor, they were immaculately clean and meticulously maintained & beautiful lobby by the way... Furthermore, the motel's prime location is yet another perk. Positioned conveniently close to the place I wanted to visit..."

"We were here for the volley ball game and this place looked very neat. This motel exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and comfortable accommodations. The staff were friendly and attentive, making check-in and check-out seamless. Overall, it provided excellent value for the price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay."

"This is an older building in a busy part of town, close to many restaurants and parks. The elevators are small, but functional. Checking in was fine, the clerk was very accommodating and gave us a nice corner room. The room was spacious. The bed was comfy and we both got a great night sleep. The room was superficially clean but if you looked closely in the corners , it could have been cleaner. The shower was strong and hot, but lots of chips in the paint in the tub. Breakfast was standard Choice fare, but they had a circular counter for the hot food which was appreciated as it kept people from blocking the waffle makers. There were 3 breakfast attendants who were working very hard to keep things full.I recommend this as a nice hotel. I read the other reviews and we did not notice any bad smells. When reading the other reviews you need to remember this is a budget hotel, not a 4 Seasons, and I think it was a great option."
