They have a stellar reputation- we’ve had great experiences each and every time, in Maui and Kauai. This time we rented in Kapa’a- Richard welcomed us in, assisted us with fin sizing and snorkel selection. He let us choose mask colors and even made a prescription lens mask for me. Richard is so very kind and patient! Because we snorkel on most vacations, we opted to purchase gear this visit rather than rent. We wouldn’t consider giving our business anywhere else but Snorkel Bob’s- personalized care the moment you walk through the door, a map of snorkel spots, a card with the types of fish you’ll see, plus Richard’s expertise as to what days this week will be best to snorkel in which areas. "We came in looking for flippers and Dan hooked us up! He was incredibly friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. The flipper rentals were super cheap, $1.50/day and you can return them in the drop off box when you’re done with them. Great place to get your gear!"

"I assume this person was Richard. Renting was fine and efficient with 6 people. Arrived early, not busy. Returned the snorkel and Boggie boards and must have misplaced the .30 cent plastic bottle of defog. He had the nerve to insist we pay $5.25 to replace...after we spent $415 in rental equipment. Where is the Aloha and smart business decisions? Always rent in Poipu, not here. Rented in Oahu too, they couldn't have been nicer."
