"This was my first time using Turo and glad to report renting through Turo and using a car from Drive In Hawaii was easy and stress free. The car was great, clean and very fuel efficient (around 33 mpg). We received the car an hour earlier than planned because our flight arrived in Kona and hour earlier than when we booked the car. We were able to pick up the car at the airport an hour early as the car was their and ready to go after we did the checkin procedure for the car. Drive In Hawaii responded to every question I had before getting the car and during checkin. As an example, I could not find a hatch release in the car and then when I tried to locate the button on the hatch to open (it was almost dark, we had been flying for approximately 15 hours), Drive In Hawaii responded immediately when I asked via the Turo app where the release was on the hatch. When it was time to return the car we decided to take the car back an hour early (since they gave it to us an hour early) plus our scheduled return time would have made it dark out and more difficult to take proper photos of the interior and exterior as part of the checkin process. When I notified Drive In Hawaii that we were returning the car early they let us know that we still had the car for another hour but we decided to give it back early anyway. I will use Turo in the future and I highly recommend Drive In Hawaii as an excellent place to rent your next vehicle. Mahalo!"
