"yesterday i abruptly needed new brake pads and rotors. i called up midas and darren was able to get me an appointment that same day. they finished the job in less than 2 hours (which is much faster than any other automotive service place i’ve been to in kona, and i’ve lived here almost my entire life) and gave me a nice discount on something i hadn’t initially planned on having to get done (but out of safety needed to). both the shop manager and darren were incredibly nice and accommodating. the icing on the cake was their transparency, as they showed me my old parts that needed to be replaced when i came to pick up the car. def coming back here for any future car servicing!!"

"Hi Chris, I hope you are doing well. A few weeks ago I took my truck in for an oil change and during the brake check you told me with great alarm that the rear pads had to be changed immediately since they had about 10 days of use left and that it was very dangerous to ride in this conditions. Your job quotation was $800 +, so I decided to do the pad change myself. Surprise! look what I found (photo) the pads are half-life and rotors totally perfect. I thought it would be weeks out but he told me to bring it in because anything having to do with brakes and road safety was important to them. They will make the time to assist. This showed me that they care for people and our community. Darren at Kona Midas walked me through the process and made me feel at ease. They were quick to repair and very easy to work with. Although it was a lot more than I expected to pay, Darren helped me understand the value and cost of what they do. Going to Midas was worth my time and money.
