Tower Campground 4609 West 12th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106

"Stayed here because it was the ONLY campground open in the city in March & I HAD to be in this city. - Roads are shot out, drive slow or you could pop a tire. - Office said “closed” the two times, one at 1:47 pm on a weekday, 2:36 also a weekday, however, when I called someone picked up the phone both times. Later - Bathrooms are NOT open 10pm-6am. Sign on the door says due to vandalism, which is not comforting. So if you’re a late shower person or early riser, forget about it. Also, the bathroom light in the men’s bathroom shuts off while you’re showering so I hope you like showering in the dark. - Bathrooms not cleaned all 4 days I was there. I showered with the same clumps of hair, and the same spider every day. Sinks disgusting. - $60 a night, they must be paying their employees TONS, even though I never saw one, because they’re not putting a dime back into this property that I could see. - RIGHT next to a busy highway with no noise fences. SUPER LOUD road noise 24/7. Not to mention that when I was there, most of the campers were not campers, but workers and started their trucks at 3:30 AM and let them run for 30 minutes. It’s like staying in a truckstop. Literally! - Permanent residents SPEED through this property, swerving manically to avoid the potholes. Walk your pet at your own risk. - I understand WHY they don’t give refunds. You are charged for your entire stay right up front with no cancellations or refunds, and I get it now. Called the office to confirm. Not under ANY circumstance do they refund $. We hooked up our camper & ran from here as soon as we could & just forfeited the rest of our $."

"Everything is fine, facilities/ location are great but for the price it’d be something if the Wi-Fi worked. It very very rarely works well enough to use."

"Stayed at this campground on the last night of vacation. My husband booked it. Had good ratings. Good there on Saturday afternoon at 4;30 pm the office was close. Didn't have any info on what site was ours so we picked a site. My husband even tried calling the office workers no one answer or even returned his call. We met a couple that was camping there they gave us the code to the bathroom/showers. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't of been able to get into the restroom."

"Loved our stay here. We had a last minute pivot and Tower Campground was able to get us in for the time we needed over the holiday weekend. The south campground is certainly the place to be. We stayed in 324, it was unclear we would have someone behind us (back in, but you back in to a site with a neighbor sharing the same concrete site. Just something to be aware of!). The south campgrounds has grass and shade, the front campground is the parking lot other reviews reference. The sites were super level, immaculate tmobile home internet speeds (300/100+), lots of shade from all the trees. We’d absolutely stay here again."

"We enjoyed this campground very much. Small and clean. A little noise from the nearby highway and the flyovers can be loud from the nearby national air guard group. In no way a huge deal, though. Staff in the office were extremely nice. Laundry facilities were very clean and the prices reasonable. It seemed like everything you could possibly want to go to in town was a maximum of 15 minutes away. Site was very level and had enough shade to cool things off, but not completely covered in trees. Highly recommend this park."
