"I have read thread the reviews from years ago and it's crazy how I relate to them in 2024!! Me and my mom have been getting sick and we thought it was allergies but it's the same symptoms for black MOLD. Now, I haven't found any black mold but if I do I'm gonna have my mother call the police. There should be no reason why I woke up to gunshots. Now I thought it was fireworks but it was December. And I love that turkey but there should be no reason why I'm being greeted by a turkey every morning. This is so stupid management does not care and I'm pretty sure bots reply to your reviews and not the literal people e because they couldn't care because guess what! They're getting paid regardless. I have a water leak and no one has even come and checked. I can't wait to leave. And I'm writing this while I'm sick. And one more thing. Why is my window Infested with damn spiders? this is ridiculous. I am leaving next month or the month after or I really don't know just as soon as possible I don't know how this complex is still up and running with 2 stars and reports of mice and mold. This is stupid. Management all you have to do is get some damn people to check our house how hard is that. Lazy."
"Lived here for 3 months, really nice, calm, quiet area. Property management is really nice. My experience was a bit bumpy the first month, but management are doing their best to make up for that. When I moved in 2 of my appliances were broken, instead of repairing the 2 appliances. Management installed all new appliances. I’m really grateful for that. And a thanks to maintenance Joe Palm, I told him about my hot water not being hot, and he went out of his way to fix the issue when he installed the appliances and gave me hot water. Management has been very generous. With the renovations they have done to my unit, and what is to come."
"Cheaper than other places. But you pay the price in other ways. Constant fire alarms. Maintenance is understaffed and disorganized, and it takes you going out of your way to get basic repairs completed. The handrail for the stairs has been down for days, the entry door lock has been broken for months. Lots of trash thrown about. Loud yelling and arguments on a semi frequent basis. Car break-ins. Amenities are rarely working. The laundry machines are god awful and everytime you use them you pray they work, it's so bad you may need to use a Laundromat."
"Property manager is pretty nice, however the communication between them and maintenance is awful. If you need anything fixed, grit and bear through the state it’s In because it will take months. Cleaning crew is rude and doesn’t even clean things up- there’s trash everywhere in and out of the apartment buildings, it smells funny and the maintenance does more cleaning than the cleaning crew. They are more concerned with harassing people than cleaning. Cigarettes being smoked in the stairwell. Doors being broken so that they don’t need a key to enter. Parking is atrocious, people don’t have their guests park in visitors parking so you’re just left there to try and find anywhere. And most of the people who live there are entitled and extremely disrespectful, especially when it comes to traffic and driving. Don’t live here if you have kids, don’t live here if you have mental health problems, don’t live here if you’re disabled (elevators break). The system has errors with rent and payments The property manager seems to try and make it the best, and the rest of the staff are the absolute worst. The boss for the whole place doesn’t seem to do anything for anyone or anything."
"I have been a resident at Georgetown since 2019. I love everything about living here. Location is prime as I can commute to pretty much anywhere in the city within 15 minutes. Property is located along the Mississippi trail that I frequent in the summers with my daughter for biker rides along the river. I have a wonderful unit with a balcony that over looks the river. I spend a lot of time outside on my balcony listening to the birds in the summer and enjoying my coffee. Pool is great in the summer when I have guests over. I would definitely recommend anyone to live here. Rent is very affordable as well."
