Ascent at Aldersgate Apartments

"Do yourself a huge favor and avoid these apartments. They will become your worst headache. Pest control is not done on a rotation like it should be, which causes infestation, and this management company is one of the absolute worst in the industry. The buildings are not properly maintained. The complex was also featured in the news for thousands and thousands of residents money orders and payments being "missing from their ledgers and accounts." The management company took no responsibility for this and left it in the hands of the residents to 'prove they paid the money by providing the proof or get evicted' which, in return left emotional distress on many individuals who were completely innocent. The management company (do your research on those reviews too) either forced eviction on these residents or made them repay the money (seriously - google it - (KATV). There is no security on site if you have an emergency after hours. Pool gates are never locked, which is scary for the little kids around. Trash can overflow, and anyone can ride through the complex. Be careful about those who park across the street and watch. Little Rock police department is constantly on the property. Also, this complex backs up to John Barrow Road, so expect to have issues and sits next to a lovely LOUD highway all night long. Multiple car break-ins on property. Call and get the crime in the area before you consider this complex. There's a reason they are running specials....no one wants to live here, it's half empty. Do your research. There are many nicer places to live in Little Rock for cheaper and safer. Good luck."

"Taniequa and the maintenance man, Darrel, are very helpful when my partner and I were navigating the application process. They answered all of our questions. The apartments are nice, spacious, and well thought out."

"This is my second review... Please do not waste your time and move into these apartments. Since the first property manager scammed majority of tenants leaving us with a huge balance on our accounts and didn't properly fill out our lease agreement, we have had several new property managers. Plus, they want us to repay them for the money she has stolen! Please be mindful of the area as well, we live around the corner from John Barrow area and live right by a LOUD highway which you have to get use to the noise. Also, in July multiple cars were vandalized and there are no cameras, courtesy officer or maintenance man on site as well. The property is not gated whatsoever. The property is not safe! This is a horrible establishment that let their PAYING tenants get scammed by someone they hired to trust with our payments."

"Do not move to these apartments. 5/24/2023 multiple residents receive letters stating they owe 6,000 to 10,000 in rent. They have yet to find a solution for the tenants, and want the tenants to do their investigations. They cashed our money orders and did not apply them to our rent for months but want the tenants to pay them AGAIN. Kara and staff are very rude! They are being exposed on KARK NEWS. Jenna is the new manager she is rude & unprofessional well! Run from this place! The grass hasn’t been cut in weeks, we are sharing a maintenance man with three other apartment complexes! The pictures they post is not how these apartments look in person"

"Please avoid this place at any cost. The construction is new and apartments are nice but the management is very pathetic. Plus there are insects that bite you and the management would not do anything about that. Worst part: The corporate is money hungry. Just moved in in April 2023 and despite making agreed upon rental payments on time, we are seeing unknown balances with threats of eviction. The move in specials advertised on their fakebook page was also never posted on our account. Either pay or face eviction is the only thing I have been hearing since mid of May. The proofs of payments you submit, they reject and threat again. It is not just me, there are 21 residents who have received balance notices with a few owing over $14000. You guys need to see the news before consider renting here. Zero stars if I could give that!!!!! Stay away and save yourself from the trauma."
