Magnuson Hotel Little Rock South

"Updated: Muhammad the owner, great guy. couldn't possibly have anything bad to say about this guy or his office staff but the cleaning ladies that work here now don't exactly do a great job on the cleaning of rooms. The rooms are slightly improving as days move forward. the service is that of a 3-star hotel location is not in the best neighborhood but not too bad. Pool is not functioning. They are pet friendly with a deposit. Minus the pest and rodent issue it's livable. The place isn't too bad. Update:2 months living here, it's not too bad but 2 weeks ago our heat went out in our room then over a week ago our refrigerator went out in the room. We just brought home $50 in groceries a couple hours before this happened. Went to the office and told them the issue. was told they would take care of it but here we are still no refrigerator and no heat in the room. Office now says they don't have enough refrigerators to swap ours out."

"The picture that are advertised is not what the motel looks like. It looks like a ran down place where a bunch of drug attacks live. Be very afraid walking to your car and to your room. The staff look like their on drugs as well. 2 was hang around my car which made me very nervous. The door and the door way have a huge gap. Any rodent can easily walk through. The sink was stopped up. The worst $60 plus experience ever."

"Freaking terrible. I stayed with my friend and she had gotten a smoking room. They stink bad!! The curtains are all holey and there isnt a lamp shade, just the lamp, the in between beds lamps didnt work at all. The bathroom was just pitiful looking. Definitely needs to be updated!! The bed was SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!! Overall, I always stay at a marriot, it's been YEARS since I stayed in something so crummy that it was hard to get used to. I woke up at 5am and was having trouble breathing, idk if this is due to mold or just the smoking room made it hard. Last but not least, I saw a roach crawling by the tv. It was time for me to go. I was done."

"First of all this hotel needs to be closed! Over half of the rooms are not available because of broken windows. No locks on some, some filled with maintenance equipment. And about the guest service. There's a young man named Jojo who's at front desk, very unprofessional, smoking weed ,ignoring guests calls, ect. And the owner Muhammad he's no better. He's so money hungry he had the nerve to hassle me about 8 dollars and the rooms are not clean or half cleaned, rats and roaches EVERYWHERE. And the customer service is unacceptable. PEOPLE PLEASE DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. I even saw needle caps on the breezeway in plain sight for 3 days. I stay a week and 3 days. And I have called BBB myself. There's crackhead everywhere standing around all times of day and night. Not a place you want to be...... TRUST ME"

"Magnuson was great...when u walk in to check in at the front desk you're greated by a very friendly staff making your stay that much more comfortable. Cozy rooms, great staff,laid back stayed 3 days already and going to continue. Thanks Magnuson, Keep up the great work! Christine Y"
