Hampton Inn & Suites West Little Rock 1301 South Shackleford Road, Little Rock, AR 72211

"This hotel is our favorite hotel while staying in Little Rock. My family and I have always stayed at this hotel at least 2 to 3 times a year for the last 4 years. Never much interaction with staff because we are Hilton members and use digital check in /out and also digital key. Rooms are cleaned decent. However on this last visit in one of our beds my husband was awakening by itching and felt biting. He checked himself and had bites on his thigh. He also found what appeared to be a small bug in the bed. We googled how bed bugs look and the bug was identical to a bed bug we checked both beds and only seen that one. I called staff and the front desk lady said that the manager was not in and she was about to call her and she would call me right back. Front desk called back and stated that the manager said that we could leave and refunded for one night and no penalty would be against us. I told her if she could just send maintenance up to at least spray or something (which he came right up) and checked and didn’t find anymore. I told the front desk that we couldn’t leave we live 2 hours away it’s night and we have two young children. Well that same night my husband got bit up even more and so did I and one of my children who slept on the couch bed. I found two bed bugs in the opposite bed, and one dead under the mattress. Good hotel but the bed bugs are a big no for me. If you stay just be mindful of the bed bugs and I know it could be normal for hotels to have them but my family and I have never experienced it at any Hilton hotel ever that we have stayed in in all of years of traveling."

"January 2024. Remodel in progress & we were not informed before booking. Also, there was a winter storm 2 days prior to our stay & the parking lot was a nightmare. No one had it salted or scraped. As far as the room suite, it was clean, neat, & comfortable. Would stay here again. Have stayed here before."

"First and last time. There is no conditioner provided in the hotel. I asked the front desk for conditioner. I was told if I want conditioner to buy it in the shop. Why is this the only Hilton property to not provide conditioner? I am sure my daily rate covers toiletries. Diamond status."

"We have been here over a week and they are fantastic. We have a one bedroom suite for around $130/night. My teenage daughter loves having the living room to herself. Everyone is friendly. Hot breakfast items are pretty awful but make your own waffles never disappoints. Wish they hadn’t blocked off their front door during winter weather as it’s hard to bring in belongings on a cart through the side door. Also wish they would salt the parking lot. It’s a sheet of ice and dangerous with a dog who pulls. Overall we are happy with our stay here. Also can hook up Netflix account which is awesome."

"I stayed here for work because I had to be in West Little Rock and the location was convenient to where I needed to be. I'm a Diamond member and have spent over 115 days at Hilton properties this year. This hotel had the worst benefits of any hotel I've stayed. They only gave me water at check in and had a very limited selection of snacks. Other Hilton properties gave me two bottles of water daily, (probably a value of $1). It was very inconvenient for me to have to leave the hotel for water. Customer service is minimal here. I do not recommend this hotel for a Diamond member. Rooms are adequate. The carpet was a little dirty. I will not stay here again."
