The Grove at Pleasant Valley

"I have only lived here a year and progressively the living conditions have only gotten worse. I would recommend living elsewhere in Little Rock if you are looking. My apartment has smelled like marijuana for about 6 months despite multiple messages to management and calls to the courtesy officer about the issue. I was told nothing could be done for months and just to keep reporting the issue. After 1 year my leasing rate is going up 10% - after asking about it I was told it was a mandatory increase and nothing could be done despite the marijuana smell I have experienced and no updates being made to my apartment. The pool is broken or closed about every other day, same with the gate (it was broken for about 2-3 months earlier in the year). To add to the matter, I came out to my car broken into this morning and my tools for work stolen from my vehicle. All-in-all, you'll be safer and happier if you choose a different property."

"The manager, Shanesha is on top of stuff. I put in a maintenance request and the maintenance was at the door in less than 5 minutes. I have lived at a lot of complex but Shanesha's customer service is top notch."

"My fiancee lived here for 5 years. We have so many great experience there it was very difficult to move out. It was out of necessity not convenance. The staff is friendly. The maintenance people are nice. We only had a few maintenance problems the duration of her stay. The complex has two separate areas, one on each side of the road. She stayed in the smaller area of the two. Through the years we met several wonderful neighbors. They are very pet friendly. Good sidewalks and large open areas for your pet to walk. They have a small but nice fitness center. An area to wash your vehicle. A pool area. It's gated and we never had any issues with crime in the area. I would definitely give The Grove a chance if you are looking for a new apartment. They are always updating the apartments between tenants. Really good staff, covered parking available for a small fee. We had issues a few times with the AC but never had to wait more than a day for them to look at it. They are priced well. Go by and see for yourself I'm sure you will see the Grove can be a great place to enjoy your neighbors and feel safe and comfortable. The living rooms are fairly large. Good bedrooms with desk area built into some of the units. Really just loved the time we spent here. It felt like home and we hated to leave. Pleasant Ridge Shopping center is less than a 1/4 mile away. Gas, food, retail all right around the corner. So give The Grove a chance if you are looking for your next apartment. Their prices are comparable to others in the area and sometimes they offer really good deals depending on the length of your lease. We had to try and move during the most recent ice storm and they were nice enough to give us a few extra days with no charge to get moved out. Thanks to The Grove staff and all our wonderful neighbors. We will miss you all very much. Edit: Also wanted to add that I myself lived here in from 2009 to 2012. Had a great experience then as well. I will say there were times early on, when my fiancee first moved here, that we had issues with management. But they are long gone and the new staff has been very helpful. Don't let older reviews keep you from giving this place a chance"

"The staff here is wonderful wonderful I can’t say enough good things about Shaneska. We have had a few small maintenance things we have fixed on our own (shower rod, cabinet hinge) random things you just do to upkeep your home. But when our AC wasn’t able to handle the Arkansas heat so they gave us a new AC while it was being repaired. Any time they see an issue on the property it is addressed without having to ask. They understand you want to feel at home here and they do everything IN THEIR POWER to make this a safe, affordable, attractive property * plus amenities like the car wash ??? Who even has that. I’ve used it 4 times. I will not be leaving any time soon."

"The Grove is AMAZING!!! The staff is super friendly and they immediately made me feel at home when I came in to tour. The amenities (pool, 24 hour gym, car wash, and tennis court) are always clean and well kept. Maintenance is super responsive and reliable. I recommend this complex is is looking for a peaceful, well kept, and friendly community to call home!"
