"Avoid at all costs. Poor management and even worst properties!!!"
"I live in an apartment complex in another state but dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had to deal with. The people they hire have yelled and me and avoided any contact with me. When it comes time to renew my lease it’s been a really awful experience."
"You have beautiful properties and need to resolve the tenants concerns. Pretty soon all the exterior lights on and around the building will be out. Why not address the issues before then. The Marlowe Apts."
"This company trades gift cards to low-income residents for good reviews. Manipulation. Zero stars. Staff and corporate do not care about residents at all. I lived at Treehouse for 5 years, and maintenace requests take months to be acknowledged (sometimes years). Management company, Living Well Homes, ignores all emails and phone calls. Manager Danielle could regularly be found sleeping or watching television in her office. District Manager Norma ignores all communication. Cars are regularly stolen and broken into, as well as mail. Multiple shootings and kidnapping have occurred over the past few years. They have spent the past year renovating the front office, meanwhile only 6 of the 20 washing machines on site have worked in the past year. I had to request to have an extra lock put onto my door after maintenance entered my apartment without notice while I was undressed. The day before this past Thanksgiving, we were told water would be shut off for 1 day due to a burst pipe (they have been aware of this issue for 3 years and did nothing about it). It was shut off for weeks for hundreds of units and management said nothing about it. They closed the office to avoid residents and ignored all emails and calls (including corporate). We finally contacted the news and the city forced them to turn it back on. Many residents asked to leave during this time, and management only allowed them out of their leases if they agreed to sign non-disclosure agreements. Many were forced to leave with only 24 hour notice. After I was on the news, my apartment was illegally entered by leasing agent Halee and maintenance without my permission, and they took video recordings of my belongings. I saw this on my security cameras, and was screamed at and cursed at by Halee when I asked her what happened. The office later admitted that they entered my apsttment in retaliation to me going to the news. I planned on staying one more year, as moving is a huge expense. The same day I was told they would be renewing my lease, I received a notice to vacate, giving me 54 days to leave (despite the lease clearly stating they legally must give at least 60 days notice to vacate). New manager seems okay, but there have been 4 in the past year so I doubt she stays long. Living Well Homes was botified of all of these situations multiple times and ignored everything. Live literally anywhere else."
"Living Well Homes is the worst management company I have ever leased from. I live at Azul Apartments and so far I have not met anyone who is truly happy here. Maintenance takes months to fix issues. Manager Edith is more concerned about policing everyone’s balcony or patio and what you have on there (she determines what is outdoor furniture) than fixing the actual issues of the apartment complex. I had to get rid of plants and so did other residents. The trash cans always are overflowing and the parking lot is a disaster."
