"The only thing good I experienced was that the hotel was 1. Next to the Arrowhead mall, 2. Cheaper than the other hotels next to the mall, ( the spring hill hotel price was $260 and the hotel serene was $160) 3. The rooms themself were clean and up to date. (Except the front desk area, it was in serious need of paint and fixing up. Perhaps they are still working on it, don’t know?) The cons. 1.The staff was not very friendly,( although the manager was courteous ), 2. The tv in my room did not work properly so they had to come in and fix it, ( after I went down to the front desk twice to tell them nothing is happening) 3. The coffee maker in the room had no coffee cartridge holder to brew the coffee with, 4. There was no number list or dial code in the rooms that told you how to reach the front desk so I had to walk all the way from my room to the front desk every single time I needed something corrected by them, (3 times mind you, I didn’t bother going when a 4th time was needed) 5. When I went to throw our leftover bags of food in the trash can just outside of our door (because there was no room left in the little trash can in our room, one of the men cleaning the rooms down stairs yelled up to me not to throw my trash in the trash can …(get this)… because he had just replaced the trash bag in the trash can a few minutes before…(I am perplexed by that one…) 6. They keep a $100.00 deposit fee that they say is refundable but takes 5-7 days to get back… I'm hoping this review helps the hotel staff to improve on their people and performance skills. ) The hotel room in and of itself was comfortable and pleasant enough looking. But I think I would spend the extra $100 for the room at Spring Hill suits next time around ,since it still costed me $260 for that one night and I don’t even trust this place to refund my deposit back. Although I did take a video of the room right before we checked out just in case. That’s just how shifty and untrustworthy I felt every one of the staff was if that gives you any indication I HATE giving reviews, especially if I don’t like the place I won’t bother talking about it. but when I like a place big time I make the effort so hopefully other people can benefit the experience. But this is my …VERY FIRST… NEGATIVE review … EVER… part of me doesn’t even want to hit the post button. I hope the hotel turns itself around and I can take down this review and eat my words. UPDATE: I did receive the deposit back, other than that my review of staff and hotel conditions stand."

"My family and I had a great time staying at The Hotel! We are a family of 6 and it's difficult to find good space. The room had 2 queen beds with a pull out couch. Our 2 little sleepy comfortable on the pull out. We found this hotel after leaving a super 8 hotel that was a drug dealer paradise in Gilbert, 2 hours of searching for a room, and finding this place at 2 in the morning. The front desk was so friendly and sympathetic! The room was clean and the air fresh! Nice job cleaning staff! My littles loved the heated pool! Thank you for being a great place for our family! We'll stay again!"

"The staff wasn't rude but they also weren't very friendly. Weirdest check in and check out I've ever had. Room could have been cleaner but it did smell good. Could be upgraded but for one night it worked well. Location is awesome right by Peoria Sports Complex."

"Pulled down the covers and found somebody else's hair all over the sheets. Curious if that was the only thing the cleaning crew forgot to clean, so I looked around. Long hair bunched up in corners of the floor, all surfaces have greasy/oily fingerprints, several hairs in tub. Went down to manage and asked for a different room. Went to a different room and found this one even dirtier. I insisted that the manager come up to the room, so I can show this to him. The beds were made, and garbage cans emptied, so they were definitely trying to pass it off as a cleaned room. The manager did look and is completely aware that neither rooms had been cleaned at all. I left the hotel 20 minutes after check in, to find a different hotel. And they would not refund me."

"Too good to be true. I thought what a great price! Well, that was until I saw the two rooms and had to push for a refund. The first room had the smoke detector covered in tape, smelled like smoke, and there was a dirty rag in the sink. So they sent me to another room. That room had an A/C unit that sounded like a tractor. The room was dirty and it smelled. I can't imagine I'll ever try that place again. With that said, I have to say something positive. The girl at the front desk was professional, friendly, and kind. The manager was nice enough to give me a refund. I hope one day the hotel is cleaned up. If the hotel was cleaned up, and they kept up their friendly demeanor, it could be a great place to stay."
