"The service was great. We had an issue with our tv/remote, and they were quick to fix it. The room itself was decent. The mattress was uncomfortable, so we didn't get a good night rest, just a couple hours due to the bed. I did a room check just check for bugs, and we found just one roach. Overall, it was an okay stay."

"Don’t stay here! This hotel is right near the active train tracks. You hear trains and the horns all night long! The walls are so thin you not only hear the trains but also the conversations of the people around you and outside. We booked a nonsmoking room, and the room was posted as nonsmoking on the door, but it smelled horribly of smoke. The door did not seal, and you could see light underneath. The counter was coming off the wall and half the lights did not work. The tv only got one station - you couldn’t change the channel and the phone was missing the buttons. There was no hair dryer or shampoo- only 2 small bars of soap. The towels were stained and there was a shoe print on my pillow. The only good part was the night clerk and the on-site security guard were pleasant and helpful."

"The absolute worst motel I've ever stayed in. We checked in, front desk staff was nice enough, went to the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Requested a new room, but there were any so the desk clerk said we could use orange spray to cover the smell...I'm not sure which was worse. The desk clerk also said "sorry about the smell we often have people break in and then we have to chase them out of the room!" Since we didn't have anyone else to go, we had to stay. The room looked ok enough when waking in, but then we noticed: mystery stains on the sheets, pillows lumpy and hard, TV didn't work, lights barely functioned, fire alarm was beeping, shower wasn't clean, stains all over, mirror looked like it was from a horror movie. Also, upon entering the door the words of the front desk clerk were confirmed when we noticed the crow bar damage to the door lock. The security guard with a gun in the parking lot was a nice touch, as was the razor barbed wire on the neighbors fence. I think my favorite moment was when we were leaving we made eye contact with another guest, who perfectly summed up our experience when he said: "well, at least we survived the night!""

"The rooms are a good size. Unfortunately, the front door did not seem very secure. The location of the location of the motel is adjacent to the train tracks. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared to be jarred awake by passing trains. The faucets were odd. The right knob that should be for cold water was hot, and the left knob was cold. The personnel at the front desk were kind, courteous, and helpful. There is a security guard that either stands at the entrance or walks around the premises."

"The room service lady with the glasses knocks on my door in the morning threatening me everyday mentioning things I have nothing to do with. I applaud motel six for hiring a mentally ill person, but it shouldn't be at the expense of customers. I'm not sure if she confused me with another person, or was just awful in general. It's a shame because it's a nice motel."
