"We lived here for a year and it was a great place to live. Very quiet, very private, good neighborhood. We didn’t have any problems with management, and when our apartment had issues, maintenance was pretty prompt. There was a nice walking path nearby with a park. It was awesome to have a garage as well, because their biggest problem was the terrible parking. Sadly, they raised their rent and it just became too much for us, so we had to move. All in all, it was a very nice place to live and I miss it."

"It's been really nice living here. The property is well taken care of and the management is laid back (in a good way). I was pleasantly surprised that the walls seem to be decently thick with little sound travel. Either that or our neighbors only whisper. My favorite feature in our apartment is the big windows that let in so much light! Very pet friendly with many options for walking paths and parks. Our neighbors are usually good about picking up after their dogs, but we do occasionally have to deal with some not-so-nice neighbors. Beautiful, convenient location. The only problem we have had here was the parking. The single car garages assigned to each apartment are a much better upgrade to the typical carports but there is so little room for additional vehicle parking. If you've lived in apartment complexes, you probably know this problem is typical for big complexes. It's not terrible, just really annoying some days."

"Lived here for years... it's a budget apartment complex. Reasonable pricing, but shared benefits that aren't always the best (parking is tight, facilities always need things fixed, etc). Always argue about rent raises. If they say they are going to up it, ask what you can do to keep it the same... but don't be afraid to leave if they say too bad. :)"

"We have been residences for 17 years at Gekeler Farm Apartments. The current management treats us like crap! The last four times we have renewed our lease they have raised the rent. Not because they need to but because they want to. The apartments are old and falling out of good repair. They can't keep good maintenance people or managers because the must treat them worse than the renters. They just informed us that we can only renew our lease for 7 months this time because the rent is going up again. We are now looking for a new place to live. I advise everyone to stay away from Gekeler Farm Apartments."

"I would say Gekeler Farms is an amazing place to live if you are looking for a decent location, horrible management, no parking, and for not being updated at all, it is highly over priced. When we moved in, 60% of our carpet was covered in stains and they said they just didn't have the budget to replace it even though they said they shampooed it. About six months of living there I decided to shampoo it with just a cheap shampooer from home. About half the stains that were there when we got that I had gotten to come up. I thought that was weird since they said they were professionally shampooed right before we moved in there. Sounds like I should open a carpet shampooing business. Then our fridge kept leaking and they tried repairing it over and over again. Finally they replaced it 2 weeks before our 1 year lease was up. That's right, 11 and half months it took them to finally just replace our fridge and realize that it couldn't be fixed. That is also after about 400.00 dollars worth of groceries were ruined because of it. If you work with in 5 miles of Gekeler Farms and plan on living here, just leave your car parked at work because it will be closer than any place you can find at Gekeler Farms. O and last but not least, if your a fan of sitting in a constantly crowded hot tub that only worked about 3 moths out of the year I was there, then you are in luck because Gekeler Farms has the hot tub just for you!!! About the only thing going for this place is their maintenance manager Sean. If anything is ever broken he is sure to fix it. There was never a long wait time for anything to get done either. If anything was ever wrong or broken, he would get to it as quickly as possible. Overall, it was just an inconvenience to live there. Between having our fridge finally replaced after 11 months of being there, $400.00 worth of food ruined because of it, and horrible management that has no management skills and can't get anything done. So if you like headaches and stress. Gekeler Farms is the place for you!!!"
