"We stayed here because we were attending an event at the Morrison Center. Great close location for that BUT this hotel is LOUD. Bring earplugs because you can hear your neighbors conversation - seriously, they weren't talking loudly, though they were loud. Our neighbors got in at 3:30am slamming doors and moving things and then woke up at 6:30am again slamming doors and furniture and being loud. It was awful. We stayed longer in Boise than expected but booked a room at another hotel downtown because we weren't going to be able to sleep at this hotel. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE outside. Super gross. It's cool if they allow pets, but come on. Literally on the sidewalks and all over the parking lot. Gross. Loved having the kitchenette. The double doors that lead into a closet from the bathroom and then another door on the other side into the kitchen area is really weird. Who needs an odd pass through to the bathroom like that? The tv is in a very precarious spot. I was so afraid I was going to bump it and knock it off the table and break it. Also it is on such a low table that if a couple is in the bed, you can't see the tv looking over the top of the other person. Weird. Why not hang it? There is NO full length mirror. The bathroom counter is teeny and the only mirror is in the bathroom so I couldn't get ready for the concert w/o hogging the bathroom and I couldn't see my full outfit. Most hotels provide multiple mirrors. The hotel we switched to had 3 in the room! Breakfast was decent. I appreciate that there were low carb/gluten free options for me."

"Good location and staff was very pleasant. Downsides include the staff not letting us know the pool was unusable and the bathroom light lit up the whole room at 2:30am for the mid-sleep respite, and loud heaters. Upsides included comfortable beds, clean rooms and the hotel breakfast was pretty good."

"My recent stay at Towneplace Suites Boise Downtown was nothing short of a disappointment. I encountered several issues during my visit, including bad staff service, room cleanliness problems, and a disappointing breakfast with moldy bread. Staff Service (★☆☆☆☆): I was shocked by the lackluster service I received at this hotel. To start, the staff didn't ask me about my Titanium member welcome gift, which is a basic expectation for a hotel of this caliber. When I inquired about it, the front desk attendant seemed clueless about what a Titanium member's welcome gift even entailed. This lack of knowledge and disregard for loyalty program members is inexcusable. As a Titanium member, I expected a much more welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Room Cleanliness (★☆☆☆☆): The room I was assigned was far from the clean and comfortable environment I anticipated. Not only was it noisy, but it was evident that the housekeeping staff did not do a thorough job. The noise from the surroundings was disruptive, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The cleanliness issue was equally concerning. The bathroom had visible signs of neglect, and the carpet felt dirty underfoot. A dirty room is unacceptable and casts a shadow over the entire stay. Breakfast (★☆☆☆☆): The breakfast experience was the final straw. I had high hopes for a pleasant breakfast, but those hopes were shattered when I discovered moldy bread among the breakfast offerings. The absence of quality control in the food service was evident, and it left me questioning the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. In conclusion, my stay at Towneplace Suites Boise Downtown was marred by a complete lack of staff knowledge, a noisy and inadequately cleaned room, and a deeply disappointing breakfast experience. This hotel needs to take these issues seriously and make significant improvements to regain the trust of its guests, particularly those who have loyalty program memberships. My hope is that this review will serve as constructive feedback to address these concerns for the benefit of future guests and the hotel's reputation."

"Room was big, which is good, but the toilet was kinda dirty. The people who are working there are amazing! Really nice people, but the service is not great…for instance, they took away the body soap in my room for like 4-5 days, had to buy one. Breakfast should start at 6:30 on weekdays, but that’s very relative. Sometimes there are no plates, sometimes no cutlery…I live in Japan so maybe I am biased because here the service is always perfect, but really feel it can be improved"
