Hampton Inn & Suites Boise-Downtown

"Best customer service I've ever had at a Hilton brand hotel! ...and best Hampton Inn & Suites I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many Hampton Inn hotels. Very spacious lobby & dining area with many upgrades. Public restrooms were immaculate, and supplied with a mouthwash dispenser and small cups and rolled hand towels, in addition to the paper towels. I had 2 rooms booked at this hotel for a 3-night & 4-day weekend. There was a major winter storm brewing and a winter storm warning where we were making a connecting flight. It looked inevitable, most likely delaying and/or canceling flights. I made a call to the hotel the day of my cancellation deadline and spoke to Eric Stevenson at the front desk. I told him my situation with the connecting flight and storm, and asked for grace on the first night because we didn't know if we were going to make it to the hotel or not. Eric was very empathetic to the situation and assured me that he would work through the situation with me either way. I can't tell you how relieved I was, knowing I wasn't going to be out hundreds of dollars. We luckily made the connection without disruption and got to the hotel, so it was a moot point. Again, it was the peace of mind that mattered to me. Eric also upgraded our standard rooms to suites. When my daughter and I arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Christian (who was in training) at the front desk. He was very kind and welcoming, gave us plenty of water and made sure we were comfortable with everything before we went to our room. Amy was also working at the front desk with Christian and was very kind. We saw Christian each day and he was just as kind on every passing that we had. When it was time to check out, I met Eric in-person and got to thank him. Great guy, genuine and authentic! He made sure everything during our stay was satisfactory. I felt like I was treated with VIP status, as Eric went way above and beyond, exceeding my expectations from the start at our first conversation over the phone. I also want to thank the housekeeper who cleaned our room and made beds. Nicely done! To General Manager Erik Hansen - You run a fantastic hotel operation and made outstanding selections for hiring employees who are the first line of representation of your brand and management company! You are obviously respected, as the employees I had interaction with spoke highly of you. Keep up the great work and service, I will recommend your hotel to anyone I know that's headed to Boise!"

"We LOVED our stay here this weekend. We had to leave the previous hotel because of thin walls. This hotel was perfectly quiet! The only disappointment is that they DO NOT have the hot tub pictured. It's been cemented in. That was a huge disappointment. We loved the location and walked all over downtown. The staff were all super friendly whenever we interacted with them, whether at the desk or in the halls. The breakfast is great - if you're low carb there aren't a lot of options - I wished they'd had a cheese omelette but they had two huge pans of western omelettes which I can't eat. So I had sausage patties and two hard boiled eggs. Better than nothing! It was really nice to be able to park in the garage and leave our car there until we left. We will definitely be back."

"Love their blackout curtains! I have light sensitivity and i forgot my eye mask but their curtains are probably the best I’ve seen in a hotel! Also it was very quiet and people are super nice! Great deal for the price!"

"The room is nice, it's very clean, in fact the whole hotel is very clean... Well maintained. The buffet breakfast is pretty standard. A few things that stood out to me, they have a nice selection of Greek yogurt which you don't see a lot. Lots of different condiments. I also like that they had mini omelets, rather than just the standard super hard scrambled eggs. The one bad thing with the breakfast, is the sausage... I don't think I've had worse sausage in my life."

"Sam did an incredibly quick and thurough checkin. The breakfast was superb and entire place very clean and well stocked. Maria in housekeeping was VERY helpful and the pool was GREAT! Appreciated the night light in our room and will 100% stay here next time. Dining options within walking distance was hard to beat. A++!! Thank you!"
