Hotel 28 Boise Airport, Ascend Hotel Collection

"Had a wonderful weekend stay at Hotel 28 in Boise. The hotel is easily accessed, located close enough to the airport but far enough to be away from any noise from the flight path, and easy to get to downtown. The room was clean, well appointed, comfortable bed, and nice sheets. The staff, including their wonderful General Manager Tracy, were all friendly, accommodating, courteous, and ever helpful. We felt safe and well cared for. Will definitely be staying here on our frequent trips to Boise."

"Great stay! I highly recommend staying here if stopping off in Boise. The staff was warm, welcoming and friendly. The room clean, comfortable and had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stand, iron ironing board, and luggage stand. Staff left a welcome note in the room. In the bathrooms, they provided body wash, bar soap shampoo, conditioner, make up removal wipes and body lotion. Rarely do I see body wash or lotion provided nowadays. There was complimentary breakfast. We definitely recommend and would Stay here again."

"This place does NOT disappoint! I travel for work and spend roughly 325 nights a year in hotels. This is by far the best place I've stayed. I generally prefer a hotel with a kitchenette because i stay for 4+ nights at a time. But..... I'm being 100% honest when i say, this hotel is quiet, CLEAN. the beds are soooo comfortable, you can't hear housekeeping turning the rooms over. Hot water with big showers. Soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower, soft toilet paper, soft towels..... warm, fresh cookies in the early evening, the little store they have has everything you need at better prices than the TA across the lot. The staff is amazing I mean AMAZING. Aaron is def my fave. He's so nice and helpful. But everyone is great. I love this hotel so much. Some rooms have updated fridges where they are like actual refrigerators but small, with separate fridge and freezer. I wish they'd expand their breakfast time and offer french toast, but hey.... they still get a 10/10 from me."

"Firstly, if it’s important to you, please be aware that this hotel directly adjoins a very large truck stop. Otherwise: the front desk concierge was polite, and there was a nice, personalized card in our room. Those were the high points. Unfortunately, even at the price point, the room was not up to expected standards. The bedding was strongly suspect of not having been changed, showing clear indentations from prior occupants of the room, and the mattress itself was old and uncomfortable, it’s best days long behind it. The pillows were small but serviceable. The toilet and shower also showed signs of poor housekeeping, my wife feeling the need to clean the former before using it. At least one of the provided bottles of body wash showed signs of tampering (the lid was not screwed on correctly). The bathtub itself creaked and flexed as if not properly supported. Some fixtures are updated, but cheaply, and many older touches remain. Walls and floors are not very soundproof and noise could be heard from all around all night long. Overall, this one was a miss for me."
