Pines Apartments 7585 West Florence Lane, Boise, ID 83704

"I have been at The Pines one year now. Originally I leased it from TableRock, and it was bought out by Commercial Northwest early in 2023. The buildings themselves are nice. No water problems, no pest problems, no neighbor problems (and the NICEST neighbors at that), no safety issues. Negligible traffic noise from Cole Road. Never any parking issues. The units themselves are a non-traditional layout for a two bedroom, so you get windows in the front and back of the apartment, as well as doors at the front and back. Massively large kitchens. Air conditioning and heat work fantastic, and the building is surprisingly energy efficient, and stays naturally cool in the summer and warm in the winter. My highest electric bill running the AC in summer was $45. Love the washer and dryers in the unit. My unit has all vinyl flooring which is a major perk. Lower units are quite loud from upstairs noise simply due to the construction of the building, so if you are noise sensitive, definitely go for an upstairs unit. Maintenance with both management companies has been very good. TableRock and property manager Brooke immediately took care of some things when I moved in, and maintenance even brought their personal pressure washer in to try and get someone else's oil stain off my patio. There had been an error and my unit was not cleaned before move in (unfortunately the lack of cleaning was very extensive beyond normal wear and tear), and Brooke took care that I would be credited at move out to not be charged with cleaning fees due to my initial investment in cleaning the unit. Commercial Northwest has a portal for maintenance, you can track when they have seen your order and sent it out, and you get updates via text. Things are taken care of quickly. When they first purchased the buildings, I noted that the trash was getting piled up/we needed an extra pickup during the week, and literally the next week we had extra trash pickups. They have also quickly taken care of air conditioner issues, and general HVAC maintenance. They take very good care of the lawn and trees as well. Lots of mature pine trees, a really beautiful and peaceful property as a result. Drew and Michael at Commercial Northwest have also been very responsive, thorough, and helpful on emails, I am really grateful to both of these gentlemen. The two of them are reliable, respond and resolve issues within 24 hours. Truly, I can't say enough about them."

"If there is no availability the professional thing to do would be to answer the phone and tell the person whose inquiring that there is no availability, and to remove the posting off rental sites. Its extremely rude to simply hang up the phone without saying anything whenever someone tries calling in addition to not returning emails."

The manager, Gene Price, was both friendly and helpful. He always called residents by their name and was quick with a smile and a helping hand. Great location and a great place to live."

The Manager (Gene Price) is a great guy and any time I've had any situations come up he is very quick to work it out and get things done.
