"This community went downhill quickly. My hope is with new management Avenue 5 that it comes back to when people called it home for many years. Making money on investments is important but not at the expense of the residents who are just as important as your investment. They pay good money for a safe place to live. When management ignores the resident what you get is a bad reputation and high vacancy. As a former resident of 18 1/2 years I miss the community that once was my home. Good luck Avenue 5 Residential Bring back the balance of this property. What the pool should at the very least should look like."
"If I could leave zero stars I would. I lived at this complex for 4 years. It used to be a great place until table rock residential took over in 2020. After that it was all downhill they are completely unprofessional and hard to deal with. Trying to get them to respond is an even larger problem. While I lived there I had a conflict with another tenant who did not like my dogs and would harass me and my dogs. I ended up moving my dogs out of the apartment so I wouldn’t have to hear about it anymore. In the past year and my final year here I had medical related concerns that caused me to not be able to stay in the apartment alone for extended periods of time. I was then accused of vacating my apartment even though I was still paying rent. Finally I ended my lease. This company treats the property like trash and also the tenants. Don’t let the “cheap” rent fool you this is a very dirty complex and not worth the hassle"
"I have been trying to get a hold of management for several reason. One of the reasons being that once we renewed our lease they only send my boyfriend emails and texts and seem to have taken my email and number off when I would like to have my email and number on it still. The other being that they keep changing the parking, so it isn’t consistent and everyone gets confused. Every apartment I believe is supposed to have a spot and with the new place cards for parking there are some duplicate spots, and for our apartment we don’t have a parking spot. They also make parking random where the parking spot is far away from some residents apartments. If I had known things that other people have said on reviews and what I have to deal with living here, I would have chosen some other apartments to live in. The management here is really awful."
"READ THE REVIEWS AND LISTEN!! I didn’t and I’m learning that I should have. The management here is awful, they do not care about their residents what so ever. I have made several attempts to get ahold of the landlord because of a birds nest that has hatched in my apartment vent. I was told maintenance was going to take care of it but nobody has come by or contacted me. I am not allowed to get other companies involved such as fire department, animal control, or fish and games since the contract does state it’s the owners responsibility and I would be charged for any damages done. Since this emergency health hazard isn’t being handled the birds are going to die in the vent leading to other problems such as rats and diseases. It has escalated where the vent to my microwave no longer works. Not only this but the community pool (located a few feet from my apartment) is green with algae. Once I told the landlord her response was “its schedule to be cleaned.” Regardless the pool has looked like this since October 2022, it’s now June 2023 and another health hazard. Additionally, about every resident here smokes so if you’re a non-smoker don’t move here. The law states 25 feet as well as the contract and they smoke leaving buds in front of mail boxes, patios, and common living areas. Overall management is poor and nothing is taken care of unless the owner finds a care about it."
