"Lived at Summerhill Apartments for just over 3 years. Only thing to complain about was the age of the buildings and the laundry facilities are out-dated as well but these faults are reflected in the fair rent prices and service. Maintenance was always on top of things and the grounds were always well kept. Neighbors were decent folks that never caused issues and it's close to a good bar, Coug Mart, and a decent walk/bike ride from campus. They also know there stuff and don't i clue any BS (and illegal) "wear and tear" deductions from the security deposit. All around very fair and quality apartment complex, wish there were more like them."
"I lived in their apartment complex “Stadium terrace” for almost 4 years. The apartment building is a bit old but everything works fine and how it’s supposed to. Rent is really cheap in comparison to other leasing companies in the area at least 200 dollars less. I never really had any issues with leasing or renewing my lease every year. They let you know a few months before your renewing deadline and you just have to stop by to their office really straight forward. The front office staff was really nice with any questions or issues that I had and offered a solution as soon as possible. Maintenance calls where always answered as soon as possible which I thought it was good given that they manage 4 other apartment complexes. If I were to Move back to Pullman I would definitely live here."
"The rates for the Summerhill apartments are amongst the lowest in Pullman. For a student, this is definitely one of the best places you can live at if you're looking to save money. The maintenance crew is great and they're quick to respond to work orders. The office staff are also very friendly! They worked with me when I was a bit late on rent due to some personal circumstances. I cannot recommend this place enough!"
"I have lived here for two years and have had nothing but amazing interactions with the staff. The ground crew keeps things nice and clean, and the office staff is always willing to help with any issue that you may have. Most of the Apartments are renovated by now and they did a great job replacing appliances and flooring. I couldn't be happier with the interactions i have had. One of the most reasonable priced places in Pullman aswell. These are one of the most sought after apartments for a reason!"
"We want to respond to a few bad reviews. The only personal items I would ever bring up is that they cannot come into our office screaming about situations they created and that they need slow down and use common sense to approach the situation. The most recent review a tenant's car was towed because it was blocking our dumpsters and the garbage company would not have been able to dump the dumpsters two weeks in a row. We know winter makes it harder to park/drive but no parking areas must still be maintained. The next review never lived in our units, and we know there are SummerHill units in other cities. The previous one was never in our office, and I was pulled out of a meeting because he was screaming on the phone at our front office staff. He created the problem by not turning off his automatic payments to us via a 3rd party system. I know it is a learning process for college students, but they do have to take responsibility. If a payment is not tracked they can bring in the receipt or I can spend time looking through our cash receipt book which was how this was resolved and the tenant thanked me in the end. The one prior was a tenant who came in on February 10, 2017 and apologized for all his behavior. Again, no personal attacks were made he simply forgot the prepaid his last month's rent when he signed his lease and overpaid. When we stated the check had been cashed he accused our staff of stealing from him. Per his request, we filed an investigation with our bank, and I believe the outcome was that another person in their apartment that was not on the lease had cashed the check. I will try to do better job of communicating with these college students that have made mistakes to come back when they can control themselves and not try to logic with them as a parent. This business has over 50% renewal rate which is much higher than the industry average, and we want to provide quality customer service and will strive to do better for our tenants."
