"Fish dept. manager was extremely rude. Other customers left the store because of the way he talked to us. Many, many dead fish in their tanks, on top of it. And no guarantee on the fish they sold us because ""we bought too many." We have 3- 40 gallon tanks and a 55 gallon tank. So, we bought almost forty fish for established tanks. They were all small fish. We will stick to Duncan's in the future, where they are very friendly and knowledgeable."

"This is my first time in Coeur d’Alene Petco. I truly enjoyed it. I have a 20 gallon fish tank. I took the advice of Jacob. I believe his name was. He was very very cordial and very, very informative. I will definitely visit the store many times as I did in Spokane."

"This location has its days. Sometimes everything is clean, all registers as open, displayed animals such as hamsters and ferrets seem to be content. The fish tanks are fully stocked and clean of dead and decay. On its off days it seems directly the opposite. Which are seldom but still noticeable nonetheless. What displaces the one star short of 5 is, I come here for my aquatic odds and ends. I have several 200 gallon indoor ponds. I have a need sometimes for certain aquatic plants as a source of natural food or a natural filter. Such plants are on display and have acquired some from time to time. This location has a local breeder that donates duckweed from time to time. This location is within walking distance from me so I enjoy coming here and getting some and seeing what other beneficial creatures such as snails or other bottom feeders I might purchase. The grind is one time I’m able to get some duckweed for my indoor ponds and the next I’m told “I’m not allowed” or “sorry it’s actually illegal” so my ponds go sometimes weeks without."

"They have such cute dog items right now for Christmas. I wanted all the doggy Christmas attire but sadly had to settle for a cone for my little guy. They also have a big selection of fish which I really enjoyed looking at."

"Petco grooming has definitely upped their game. I took my French Bulldog in for "the works" and our groomer Denise was super friendly, knowledgeable and took excellent care of our girl and we made it to our BBQ on time!
