"Shockingly high prices. See a used AS-IS lululemon jacket with piling and snags and they wanted $40!!! Wow. I can only afford to go to this store when they send a coupon to shop. Their shoe selection is overflowing due to high prices. What is happening in thrift stores? Shaking my head over here."
"♥️REALLY nice stuff! Shame on the negative reviews about pricing!! The Thrift Store makes money to be able to help those with NOTHING! Non-profit thrift stores aren't there to give away stuff!! Go to garage sales for that. I saw a sign at a non-profit that said: "If the price is Low, consider it a GIFT to you! If the price is HIGH, consider it YOUR gift to GOD!" The employees are lovely and everything is displayed so nicely."
"The “Gospal” part has disappeared from UGM. This store is receiving free product and pricing at an astronomical amount. I saw a $100 jacket! It may have been a trendy brand that I had never heard of but why should that prevent an underprivileged person from owning something they never could have afforded in the first place? It’s gross. It’s become “Big Business”. I posted pictures of $60 pants and more overpriced clothes. If you are from a family in need of affordable clothes, this is not the place to come."
"The UGM saved me and my kids from the destructive path we were on by giving us a safe, free place to live at. Then they gave me everything I needed to flourish in my new life while I worked on myself . Their thrift store was how I could clothe my family when I wasn't able to work while I took classes. Now I have a huge voucher to buy furniture for out new apartment. I love the style of the store, I love the people they employ and I overall love their mission. They are making a difference and they do it without government funding."
"Unfortunately every time I enter this thrift store I get angrier and angrier. Prices are outrageous, especially for donated, free inventory. I went in today and found a pair of ugly macys brand shoes that were priced $60. That is more than they would have cost retail. Whoever is pricing is out of their mind-comping everything online but most of the prices at this THRIFT store are priced $10-$40 over what they sell for on online marketplaces. Maybe you can find an occasional bargain but you’re better off finding a better deal for the items new at the store they came from."
