"If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve lived here since Oct 2020 and have signed a new lease every time we get a new landlord, which makes no sense to me. I had a leak in my bathroom that took over 2 years to fix-the only came to fix it after I threaten to call the health department. My toilet has been running for the entirety of February, I have put 2 maintenance requests in, and my landlord said “best I can do is put a maintenance request in” like I haven’t already put 2 in myself. Now I have cockroaches, which they can’t come for 4 days apparently. Everything with these people are SHADY. They own 3/4ths of the apartment in Springfield and can’t answer any phone calls or get any maintenance workers. I am SO DONE."

"They charge you a $400 restoration fee for an apartment that you've never lived in and also a $30 application fee both of which are not refundable, I think it's BS that they charge things like that. Overall from the outside it looked nice."

"We really enjoy living at Markwood! We have a 2 bedroom, and it is such a nice space. The Wooten Company has been so helpful through the apartment hunting phase to help with maintenance of our home! We had trouble finding the right place, but we are so happy here!! Plus they are pet friendly!"

"Markwood is a great place to live for me and my Wife. They've been very nice and provided excellent service. They do really strive to help you out and the apartments are gorgeous. If we had any issue what so ever they would always take care of it quickly! They have beautiful new apartments opening up behind us on Market ST. Check them out and be my neighbor!"
