"3 days after signing lease problem arose and checked about cancelling lease Wanted 200% of lease amount Apartment hasn't been moved in and won't be ready for 2 weeks. Will keep the lease but will give monthly reviews. They better earn a better review. After explaining the full reason for needing to cancel lease,we managed to get helpful accommodations where we could Push the lease date back a month. We really want to move in but we're unable to on original lease date. Ty Sam for your assistance."
"This is the single most unprofessional workplace I’ve ever had to endure. I was recruited by a highly skilled marketing manager who was also a professor of marketing at an esteemed university. 9 months later she was replaced by a family member of leadership with absolutely zero people management skills or knowledge of marketing. To say I was incredibly disappointed was an understatement. I tried to inform HR of the laundry list of issues caused by this conflict of interest, but was continuously ignored until I had to leave for my own mental health. Not a single full time employee on the marketing team has been there longer than 2 years due to a never ending abuse of power from the COO. It makes me incredibly sad because there are good people there who are suffering in silence out of fear that speaking up will leave them out on the street. Do not spend your time or your money here. You will regret it."
"The photos say it all- Extremely disappointed with the condition of the facility, and the management. I moved into Veranda Vistas a couple of years ago and found the facility to be generally clean and maintained with minor issues here and there. Over the past year, the complex has suffered from poor management and unhealthy conditions due to improper maintenance. Four office managers in the past 2 years should have been a red flag. The first major leak was on Christmas Eve 2022 which was so bad the fire department and City Utilities had to come out. To this day no mold mitigation or testing has been done. The next series of leaks (3 total that I am aware of) happened over the last few months and still no measures to test or mitigate any mold or allergens. They left a leaking pipe in the entry way, with a trash can under it and insulation all over the floors, over the weekend with no fix other than a fan. In addition to the dangerous leaks, there have been security breaches with the doors not securing overnight and on the weekends, and key fobs not being changed out after former residents vacated. The hot tub always seems to be dirty or have leaks. This place is overpriced (with rent going up every year) and underwhelming. I have rented at other TLC properties and this seems to be a common theme with them. They will scam you and charge you for every little thing that they can. I broke my lease because of the condition of the complex (health concerns) and their inability to hold up to their end of the contract I signed, and yet they are still charging a fee. I hope this review helps you from making the same mistake that I did. If you value you health, your money and your time, do not move into this property or any other TLC property."
"If you're a videographer, or into marketing PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TALENTS WANTING TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT IS LIKE A LEACH THAT SUCKS THE JOY OF YOUR CREATIVITY! ALSO THEY have a Non compete clause that forbids your from working or doing any real estate videos for any other company within a 60 mile radius for 2 years, if you decide to work for them!"
"I would recommend looking elsewhere for housing accommodations. My experience with TLC properties was most unsatisfactory, as with many others residents at Veranda Vistas apartment homes. There was a constant revolving door of disappointed tenants leaving once their lease expired. I spoke personally with Sam Coryell Jr regarding the untenable smell of human urine wafting into the hallway and my apartment. His response was that I had no business commenting on the unpleasantness unless I had personally offered assistance to the tenant next door with the incontinence issue. The odor was present until the day I moved from the property. I would recommend Reed Properties who have over the past year proven to be professional, responsive, and who provide top quality housing accommodations."
