"I recently moved into Beacon Suites and have had a phenomenal experience so far. Heather was the primary staff member who guided me through my move-in process, but I must say that all the staff members are personable and knowledgeable. The property has various amenities and is in a convenient location; which is great! I’m confident that the rest of my time at Beacon will be excellent!"

"I have read through the reviews and the majority bring up staff being an issue, however the staff are the only reason I’m not giving one star the owners are most certainly the problem. This years rent for a 1 bedroom 500sqft apartment is going for $970 next year it will be going for $1,045 despite the renters market going down in price. Currently it is more economical to pay the parking pass for msu and rent a two bedroom house in Springfield while covering your own utilities. The area is NOT safe you will commonly run into homeless meth addicts by or in the dumpster while trying to throw away your trash the issue is so bad that they have a live in security guard and that doesn’t even do much considering two years ago a girl was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot and this year we were warned about a violent meth head that frequently loiters in the parking lot. The amenities other than in the main building are falsely advertised. The internet provider net vision is notoriously unreliable expect to lose internet a few days every month. not to mention 20mbps is extremely slow for today’s standards so much so that the slowest you can get from any of the other internet cable services in Springfield are double the speed for their cheapest option, but don’t worry you can pay out of your own pocket to upgrade it. The speeds are similar to satellite in an area where fiber optics are available. The “Large Flat-Screen TVs in Living Room” is a 10 year old 32 inch 720p tv. Their “ Modern & Well-Equipped Kitchens” will be a 12 year old microwave and the oven will not even be able to fit a 9x13 Pyrex pan. If you are a student looking for apartments in Springfield wether that is with or without roommates you get a way better experience living at one of the other major student living apartment complex’s like the 505, aspen, and park East for better prices and similar distance."

"If I could grade them with a "0" star, I will... Their staff is unprofessional and doesn't respect people. Your staff should know that the company they are working with is located in a University area, some of the clients (tenants) are students who are still teenagers, others come from a different state or city, and others are in the step of continuing growing and learning... "day by day" not only at school... also we grow with the relations (that is part of the life). Your staff at the office must be trained to treat the people, especially if they are minors. Because some of the tenants are students, there is NOT a reason to treat them like Destiny and Emily did. Sorry, but " Beacon Springfield" needs to hire professional people... especially since the world needs more human beings with people willing to help or just know how to treat other human beings, who are currently in the process of being adults...  and really want to be respectful and kind adults!"

"I have been living here since January of 2021. I love the staff in the office. They are great and really are helpful with any issues that you might have. The community lounge is great to go and get a cup of coffee from the fancy coffee machine."

"I started living at beacon this year, and have loved it so far! The staff is very friendly and always so helpful even with small things. The apartments are very nice and so homey. It’s definitely a great pick for a place to live, and a good location, you’ve got everything around you within minutes. Glad to call it home!"
