"I just moved to The Abbey a few months ago and I absolutely love living here! I love all amenities and all the different people here. The community at The Abbey is truly amazing everyone is so welcoming and not afraid to say hi. The staff is so kind and very helpful but my all time fav is Makayla. She is so sweet and kind and will literally make you laugh out loud. Makayla helped me get a garden box in the community garden and then helped me decide what I should plant and helped me find decor and garden tools. Makayla is always my go to when I have a question or any concerns and she is always my go to when I just want to chat. Talking to Makalya isn’t like talking to an employee she is like talking to your best friend. The Abbey truly is my favorite place to be I feel right at home here!"

"We rented The Abbey apartment for 4yrs and after the move out inspection they charged us for a new stove telling us the stove top has a heavy damage and wear to it. When in fact the said stove is perfectly working, it's old and obviously would have wear and tear to it because we've been using it for years and tenants before us! We talked to the manager personally after the pre move-out inspection, and she did not say anything about the stove. She mentioned about the 2 light bulbs that needs to be changed, And that's it! Even in the pre move-out form, noted about the 2 bulbs that must be replaced, and nothing about the stove. I don't think that's a reasonable charge on us. It's a working stove top, that can't be cleaned like new because it's old and obviously because we've been using it for years. It was not even a brand new stove when we rented the apartment. We communicated this with the abbey apt managers, and their solution is just to divide the charge into 12 equal payments. We felt taken advantage of, at the last minute they charge us a brand new oven! I would definitely NOT recommend The Abbey Apartments after this to anyone! Such a disappointment."

"i’ve lived here for a couple months now. i feel very safe, my neighbors are very friendly, and i have a pretty big space to live in. i live in a 1 bedroom with a nice bathroom and kitchen. also a balcony. i lived in a studio for a while which was 300 dollars more than my living space now, which is twice the size, mind you. i will probably re sign, and get my friend to move in with me :)"

"You have to watch yourself at this place. They only care about money, even when moving out, they charge you 50 dollars for a light bulb. They lie, steal and cheat you at every corning. Lived here for three years. They say you are late on your rent when you are not, just so they can get more money. Do not move here unless you are very desperate and don't care about yourself. They smile at your face and stab you in the back. Not good at all..."

"My wife and I love living here! The apartments are exceptionally well maintained, roomy and comfortable. Also, the amenities are without compare. Plan on making good use of the pool and jacuzzi area, tennis courts, putting green, clubhouse with exercise area, pool table, ping pong, and so much more, including free movies in the theater on weekends. But what really sets The Abbey apart from other apartments here in Springfield is the tenants and staff. Everyone seems to be nice here. The staff is always cheerful and very helpful with whatever you may need. I (we) recommend The Abbey as the absolute best apartment complex in Springfield, MO!!"
