"There should be an option for one star, but I have to give them one since there isn't one. This place needs to communicate properly and is a money grab. For starters, I paid my rent twice, and when I called these people to get my money back, they gave me the runaround and told me to call my bank. Then, when my bank gave me my money back, these people proceeded to charge me a return check fee for my money back. The most recent time was when I was moving out; no one told us we would get late fees if we did not pay the 100 dollars plus right away. How quickly did a 100-dollar bill turn into 200, and what is a move-out fee? Why am I paying for moving out when my lease was already up and they got the rent money? How much money do you need? Then, with the lease renewal, they sent it to me days late, but somehow that is my fault, and I have all these extra fees because I have yet to respond on time when they sent the letter days after my lease renewal. Then, they do not care about your safety. The only cameras on the property are where the offices are, and they said they would not get anymore because it doesn't deter criminal activity, but how does that make sense if you have it where the packages are? With that logic, you should not have cameras at all. Your community is telling you they don't feel safe, their cars are getting broken into, you need more street lights, and they said they don't care with all the pretty words in the email. The lady was better off not saying anything. Don't get me started with how many times I reported my dryer not working, and these people "fixed" it once and never returned. No matter how many times I put the order in, they just marked it complete. Same with the refrigerator that broke down every other month and never did someone offer to replace my groceries. It took me a while to finally get a new refrigerator. Same with the garage, it broke down every couple of months, and boom, here we are again with my car stuck in a garage. Then there was a hole in the garage that they never fixed after they said they would and said I mean, you all will do what you want...this was just my personal experience."

"I went by to check our Summit Ridge Apartments! They were so beautiful and had so much to offer. Mac was excellent in answering my questions and helping me to see if it was a right fit for me! I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone in the Lee Summit area. Mac is your go to guy!"

"This is a warning!! Do Not Move In! I lived here for over 18 months due to lease contract. Had my car broken into, profanities written on my vehicles, our dryer wasn't working for over a month. Stated the reason the dryer wasn't working was because I didn't know how to use one. What ended up being the problem was there was no dryer vent to the outside which is a HUGE fire risk. When we moved out we made sure everything was clean and ready. We had No Pets but we are now being fined for replacing the carpet for normal wear and tare. Tried talking to them about it the staff said they don't have time for me. Staff becomes really mean when ending a lease. They are not transparent. And are very unreasonable when moving out. They even lock you out of your summit ridge account so you are unable to do anything so they can send you to debt collectors. We were never late with a payment. Very unprofessional to work with."

"I scheduled a tour to explore my options and Whitney was so helpful! The property itself was really nice, and extremely clean. Whitney answered all of our questions, and although I did not sign a lease the day of my tour, she mentioned she would plan to keep in touch and continue to help me find the right home. I am looking forward to working with her in the future!"

Whitney brought an awesome spirit and while keeping it professional, she made us feel comfortable and some would say, at home! She offered us some refreshments while giving us a tour and was just overall great. Highly recommend checking out Summit Ridge!"
