Econo Lodge Inn & Suites I-35 at Shawnee Mission

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! The rooms are not very clean and the person behind the desk was rude and disrespectful. I got called a lier. I was charged $200 for 1 night and a $50 deposit after they lost my reservation. They wouldn’t give me my deposit back because they said they found pet hair on the bed. I didn’t have a dog in there and they called me a lier. The guys behind the desk when and checked the room and took a picture of hair on the bed. They will rob you of money anyway they can. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!"

"Our queen beds were not queen sized (picture of me in it). The toilet would not flush, had to try multiple times, it was awful. Breakfast is cereal, apples, and snack cakes. The coffee was just water, same for the orange juice. Room had paint chipping in multiple areas. It has a mini fridge, microwave, phone, and alarm clock. Good location though, next to a gas station and restaurants just a few minutes away."

"Room was dirty, furniture was stained sheets were stained, front desk was not helpful attendant was rude, acted like listening to his phone was more important than his job, asked for extra blanket he said there were no extra blankets in the hotel. Breakfast they did have cold cereal, no toast fruit or anything warm. Had pre packaged hostess donuts and Twinkie's no garbage can was available when kid asked where to throw garbage they wouldn’t talk to them so we left it on table and went out for breakfast. As far as I am concerned 1 star is more than they deserve, only redeeming quality was location."
