Dollar Tree 9024 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66212

"My goodness, I have never met such an unpleasant, mouthy, bitter, and disrespectful cashier in my life! I stopped in to buy a couple little things because I didn't feel like paying Walmart prices and when I went up to the register there was a bell that I picked up and at first didn't think it worked because it didn't ring so I put it back down. Another customer walked up behind me and we started chatting to pass the time waiting for the cashier when she noticed the bell and I picked it up again and shook it harder and this time it actually worked. Upon ringing the bell, I heard a voice say "I'm coming, I'll be there in a second. Quit ringing the damn bell!" When she finally made it to the register a couple minutes later, I joked around and said "if you would have left me up here any longer I might have bought all these chocolates staring at me!" trying to keep it light-hearted and from others getting upset from waiting such a long time for the cashier to finally show up. Under her breathe she muttered "yeah, cause what you was buying is SO important anyway..." Never in my life have I met ANYONE working in customer service that had such an attitude that it made my skin crawl. This was not some teenager or young person, that would have been understandable at least and I could have shook it off but this was an elderly woman who looks like she had been in the customer service industry long enough to know better. How absolutely disrespectful. I am never ever going back to this place again and I really hope that they fire this person before they have a customer with a short fuse and something happens in the store from her running her mouth. How embarrassing for the management and owners of this store. Wow."

"Was not impressed with cashier Judie’s tone with me tonight about putting an item back. She doesn’t have very nice customer service skills. This is usually the $ tree I go to since it’s closest to my house the last 5 years. I don’t usually have problems."

"It's a nice and organized dollar store compared to others in the area. I rated 3 stars because the manager made an announcement over the speaker telling customers they need to help put things back where they belong because they "have inventory coming up". I found it to be unprofessional and checked out and left immediately. Shoppers are not responsible for your store goals as a manager. Leave me alone and do your job. Will go somewhere else next time."

"Dollar Tree was great, per usual. What is it about the Dollar Tree that makes it fun to shop at over and over? They always have the same stuff, and products being $1.25 now kinda bums me out..but I still walk in like I’m gonna find something new! The service is always great, and now they offer mini Ben & Jerry ice cream cups!"

"This store at 91st and Metcalf is a disaster! The place is filthy (see the pictures), many of the shelves are empty, merchandise is all over the floor. I feel dirty just walking through this store. Go to one of the other locations. Dollar Tree is a great place to shop but this location should be avoided."
